Newtown, Pa. (Men’s Basketball) - The Eastern Eagles were selected as the favorite in the 2024-25 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) men’s basketball coaches. The Pride received five of the first-place votes for 47 points.

Eastern defeated Widener 98-69 to claim the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championship title. The Eagles advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament where they fell 109-85 to Keene State.
The 2024-25 season is slated to begin Friday Nov. 8 with conference play starting Wednesday Jan. 8.
The 2024 MAC Commonwealth Men's Basketball Championship is set for Feb. 26 through March 1. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
