Newtown, Pa. (Men’s Basketball) - The Stevens Ducks were selected as the favorite in the 2024-25 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men’s basketball coaches. The Ducks received five of the first-place votes for 47 points.

Stevens defeated DeSales 54-53 to claim the 2024 MAC Freedom Championship title. The Ducks fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament 66-80 to Farmingdale State College.
The 2024-25 season is slated to begin Friday Nov. 8 with conference play starting Wednesday Jan. 8.
The 2024 MAC Freedom Men's Basketball Championship is set for Feb. 26 through March 1. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
