Six Earn AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

Eastern, Lebanon Valley, Misericordia, and Stevens highlight AVCA honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Women’s Volleyball) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 2024 43rd annual All-America teams for NCAA Division III women’s volleyball. A total of six earned honorable mention accolades. 

Eastern’s Hannah Pringle, Lebanon Valley’s Taylor McInerney, Misericordia’s Jenna Schuda, and Stevens’ Molly Harris, Vivian Lisboa, and Cleo Shannon earned Honorable Mention honors. 

Pringle was named to the All-MAC Commonwealth first team and earned AVCA first-team region five honors. This marks the junior’s second consecutive year with AVCA all-region and all-american awards.

McInerney was named to the All-MAC Freedom first team and earned AVCA first-team all-region four honors. The graduate student was named all-america honorable mention for the second year straight. 

Schuda finished the 2024 season as the MAC Freedom Player of the Year, while also earning first team All-MAC Freedom. Schuda was also named to the AVCA first-team all-region four honors. She claimed AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention during her first year campaign. 

Harris was named to the first team All-MAC Freedom and also earned AVCA first-team all-region four honors in her sophomore season. 

Lisboa finished her junior campaign as MAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and was honored on the All-MAC Freedom second team. She earned AVCA first-team all-region four honors.

In her senior campaign, Shannon was named to the All-MAC Freedom second team and claimed AVCA first-team all-region four honors.

The 2024 All-America selections were made by the AVCA Division III All-America Committee: Chair: Tim Byram of Endicott College (chair), DeAnn Akins of Coe College, Evelyn Miller of Wittenberg University, Caitlyn Moriarty of Berry College, Shelly Roiger of St. Lawrence University, Mary Kate Salko of Franklin & Marshall College, Leanne Ulmer of Carthage College, Kurt Vlasich of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Amber Warners of Calvin University, and Michele Zabinski of DeSales University.

The 2024 Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, and Player of the Year will be announced on Dec. 2.
