NEWTOWN, Pa. (Men’s Lacrosse) – The Stevenson Mustangs and the York Spartans were selected as the favorites in the 2025 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth men’s lacrosse coaches. Stevenson and York each collected four first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 46 points.

In 2024, the Mustangs had a dominating 21-3 win over fourth-seeded Eastern University to claim the MAC Commonwealth title. Stevenson fell in the thrird round of the NCAA DIII Tournament to No. 8 Tufts, who went on to win its fourth NCAA DII Men's Lacrosse title.
The Spartans will look to advance to the MAC Commonwealth Championship after a close 10-11 loss to the fourth-seeded Eagles of Eastern University.
The 2025 season is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Conference play will begin on Saturday, April 5 with a seven game schedule.
The 2025 MAC Commonwealth Men's Lacrosse Championship is set for April 30 to May 3. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
