NEWTOWN, Pa. (Women’s Lacrosse) – The York College Spartans were selected as the favorite in the 2025 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth women’s lacrosse coaches. The Spartans collected all seven first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 49 points.

In 2024, York claimed its third-straight MAC Commonwealth Championship title with a nailbiting 8-7 win over Stevenson. The Spartans fell in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to No. 2 Wesleyan (Conn.).
The 2025 season is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Conference play will begin on Saturday, April 5 with a seven game schedule.
The 2025 MAC Commonwealth Women's Lacrosse Championship is set for April 30 to May. 3. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
