NEWTOWN, Pa. (Women’s Ice Hockey) – The Neumann University Knights were selected as the favorite in the 2025-26 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men’s Ice Hockey Coaches’ Preseason Poll, voted on by the MAC men’s ice hockey coaches. The Knights collected five first-place votes from opposing coaches for 45 points.

The Stevenson Mustangs made history last season as they captured the first-ever Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The Mustangs finished with a 19-8-2 overall record, 14-6-2 in MAC play to earn the #2 seed heading into the postseason. Stevenson would go on to defeat #3 seeded Neumann University and #1 seeded Wilkes University en route to its MAC championship title victory. Mustangs season would come to an end in the first round of the NCAA tournment, falling to SUNY Genesco.
The 2025-26 season is set to begin on Friday, October 31st with conference play slated to start Friday, November 7th. The 2025-26 MAC Champion will be crowned from a double round-robin regular-season schedule with the semifinals on February 28 and the finals on March 7.
