Newtown, Pa. (Men’s Basketball) - The Arcadia Knights were selected as the favorite in the 2025-26 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men’s basketball coaches. The Knights received six of seven first-place votes for 48 points.

Arcadia finished with a 12-14 overall record last season, finishing 7-7 in MAC Freedom play to earn the #4 seed in the postseason. The Knights season ended in the semifinals, falling to #1 seeded Stevens Ducks.
Delaware Valley took down #1 seeded Stevens, 64-63, to claim the 2025 MAC Freedom Championship title. It was the Aggies fourth MAC Freedom championship title in program history. The Aggies advanced to the opening round of the NCAA Tournament where they fell 70-52 to Wesleyan University.
The 2025-26 season is slated to begin Friday Nov. 7 with conference play starting Wednesday Jan. 7.
The 2026 MAC Freedom Men's Basketball Championship is set for Feb. 25 through Feb. 28. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
