NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending November 16, 2025. A total of 15 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Nov. 10, 2025 to Nov. 16, 2025.
FOOTBALL (#MACfb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Logan Klitsch (Lebanon Valley / Jr., QB / Robesonia, Pa.) accounted for all five touchdowns in Lebanon Valley’s 38–35 rivalry win at Albright, securing the Dutchmen a berth in the Bowl Series. The junior threw for a career-high 321 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 78 yards and another score. He then engineered a 10-play, 71-yard drive in the final 1:34 to set up the game-winning 25-yard field goal as time expired.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Micah Bootman (Delaware Valley / Sr., DB / North Hills, Pa.) led the Aggies to their 10th straight Keystone Cup victory, recording nine tackles, two interceptions, and a pass breakup while returning his picks a combined 31 yards. The senior anchored a defense that controlled Widener throughout the rivalry matchup.
MAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Shayde Shultz (Albright / Fy., Returner / Gettysburg, Pa.) delivered one of the most explosive special-teams performances in the MAC this season, totaling five kick returns for a conference-high 231 yards. The first-year broke loose for a 99-yard touchdown—the second-longest in program history and longest in the MAC this year. He finished the season as the league leader in both total return yards (597) and return yards per game (28.4).
MEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Robert Cottrell (Alvernia / So., Guard / Roman Philadelphia, Pa.) powered Alvernia to a 2–1 week with 77 total points (25.7 ppg), 17 assists, and nine steals while shooting 31-for-32 from the free-throw line. He erupted for 40 points against No. 23 Montclair State—Alvernia’s highest individual scoring output in more than two years—while adding five assists and five steals. He also scored 23 points in a win over PSU Abington and added 14 points and seven assists in a victory against PSU Berks.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Jamison Lynam (Arcadia / So., Guard / Lorton, Va.) led Arcadia to a 2–1 week, highlighted by a 28-point performance in a win over Widener. He opened the week with 10 assists in a victory over Gwynedd Mercy, added 11 points against Washington & Jefferson, and closed with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting (6-for-9 from three) along with three steals and three assists in the conference win.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Taryn Woodson (Alvernia / Sr., Forward / Harrisburg, Pa.) dominated in limited minutes, scoring 13 points with seven rebounds, a block, and a steal in just 15 minutes of action during an 82–31 win over PSU Brandywine. Her efficiency (6-of-9 shooting) helped Alvernia achieve its largest margin of victory since 2015.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Shannon Tighe (FDU-Florham / Jr., Forward / Wayne, N.J.) delivered a standout week with 48 points, 19 rebounds, five assists, and five steals across three wins. She opened with 20 points and 15 rebounds in a victory over Saint Elizabeth, added 17 points in a win over Rutgers–Newark, and finished with 11 points against Rutgers–Camden. The junior shot 7-for-7 from the free-throw line and hit four three-pointers during the week.
MEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
John Musella (Stevenson / Sr., F / Bethlehem, Pa.) erupted for four goals and an assist to lead Stevenson to a record-breaking 11–1 win over Misericordia. He scored in every period and finished with his second career five-point game.
MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Jeff Kreidler (Alvernia / Fy., Goalie / Pittsburgh, Pa.) backstopped Alvernia to a weekend sweep of King’s, totaling 67 saves with a 2.00 GAA. He made 33 stops in Friday’s 5–2 win—including 16 in the third period—and followed with 34 saves in another 5–2 victory on Saturday. Both goals allowed on the weekend came on the power play.
WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
Ava Glab (Arcadia / Fy., F / Nanuet, N.Y.) recorded a program-record four goals and added an assist as Arcadia swept Neumann. She scored twice in Friday’s 6–1 win and followed with a four-goal performance in Saturday’s 11–1 victory—the largest margin of victory in Arcadia history. Glab now ranks among the MAC leaders in goals, assists, points, power-play goals, and plus/minus.
MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Mia Frisoni (Lebanon Valley / Jr., Goalie / Glenville, N.Y.) totaled 82 saves as LVC split its weekend with No. 15 Wilkes. She opened with 35 saves in a 4–3 overtime win, including 27 stops in the final two periods and overtime. She followed with 47 saves in Saturday’s 4–2 loss, recording double-digit saves in every period.
SWIMMING (#MACswim)
MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Bryan Collins (York / Sr. / Hanover, Pa.) propelled York to a 153–109 win over Washington (Md.) with three individual victories. He swept the 50, 100, and 200 freestyle events, finishing just 1.11 seconds off the Washington pool record in the 100 free, and added a relay runner-up finish.
MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Isabella Klemm (York / Sr. / Halethorpe. Md.) continued her dominant season with wins in all three individual events and a relay victory in York’s 136–120 win at Washington (Md.). She swept the 100 and 200 breaststroke and won the 200 IM, setting Casey Swim Center records in both breaststroke events—including a 13-second victory in the 200 breast.
WRESTLING (#MACwrestle)
MAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week
Trent Mahoney (Albright / Gr. / Baton Rouge, La.) remained unbeaten, going 5–0 to win the 157-lb title at the Wilkes Invite. He recorded three pins before outscoring his semifinal and championship opponents 34–3 across two tech falls. The graduate standout improved to 13–0 on the season.
MAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week
Katie Martin (Delaware Valley / Jr. / Millers, Md.) placed fourth at 138 lbs. at the Millersville Open, earning three wins—all by pin. She secured her fastest fall in just 20 seconds and finished as Delaware Valley’s highest placer on the day.
