NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending November 23, 2025. A total of 12 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Nov. 17, 2025 to Nov. 23, 2025.
MEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Jayden Rowe (York / Sr., Guard / Downingtown, Pa.) powered York to a 77–71 victory over MAC Freedom preseason favorite Arcadia, leading the Spartans in scoring (22), rebounds (7), and assists (4). The senior fueled a decisive 9–1 run in the closing minutes, highlighted by a clutch three-pointer with 16 seconds left that sealed the win. Rowe has now surpassed 20 points in four straight games and is averaging 22.2 points per contest on the season.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Mike Herrin (Delaware Valley / Sr., Guard / Sicklerville, N.J.) delivered one of his strongest performances as an Aggie, averaging 23.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals across a 1–1 week. He recorded his first career double-double with 25 points and 11 boards in a 100–93 win over Rowan, then followed with 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting—including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc—with three steals at McDaniel.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Mia Robbins (Widener / Sr., Forward / Voorhees, N.J.) led Widener to a dominant 2–0 week, averaging 19.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in just 17 minutes per game. She opened with 21 points and eight rebounds in a 65–40 win over Gallaudet, then added 18 points and four boards in an 86–36 victory over PSU–Brandywine. The senior shot efficiently throughout the week while helping the Pride continue their strong start.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Riley Hevelow (Lebanon Valley / Sr., Guard / Newark, Del.) fueled the Dutchmen to two wins while averaging 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 assists. She posted 17 points, seven boards, and three steals in a 68–44 win over Muhlenberg, then scored a season-high 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting in a 64–50 win at Neumann. Eleven of her points came during a decisive third quarter in which LVC pulled away after a tied halftime score.

MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
John Musella (Stevenson / Sr., F / Bethlehem, Pa.) continued his standout season with a seven-point weekend against Arcadia. He recorded a goal and three assists in Friday’s 8–2 victory before adding three more assists in Saturday’s matchup. The senior now leads both the MAC and the nation with 16 points and a 2.29 points-per-game average.
MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Chris Branch (Lebanon Valley / Sr., Goalie / Yonkers, N.Y.) delivered a dominant weekend between the pipes, totaling 94 saves in a pair of wins over Alvernia. He opened with 39 saves in Friday’s 5–3 comeback victory, including 19 in the third period alone. He then posted a season-high 53 saves—two shy of his career best—as LVC earned a 3–2 win despite being outshot 55–22. His 53 saves rank tied for sixth in Division III this season and are the most by any MAC goalie in 2025–26.
WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
Leela Nemani (Lebanon Valley / So., F / Venetia, Pa.) played a key role in LVC’s sweep of Alvernia, totaling three points while winning 13 faceoffs. She tallied two assists and eight faceoff wins in Friday’s 5–0 shutout, then netted the game-winning goal late in the third period in Saturday’s 2–1 victory. The sophomore was a +2 on the weekend and continues to be a steady two-way presence.
MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Mia Frisoni (Lebanon Valley / Jr., Goalie / Glenville, N.Y.) backstopped LVC to two road wins at Alvernia with 60 total saves while allowing just one goal across six periods. She opened with a 32-save shutout—her third of the season—in a 5–0 victory despite the Dutchmen being outshot 32–21. She followed with 28 saves in a 2–1 win, surrendering the lone goal only after Alvernia pulled its goalie. The junior posted double-digit saves in four of six periods on the weekend.
SWIMMING (#MACswim)
MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Bryce Miller (York / So. / Harrisburg, Pa.) had a standout showing at the three-day Spartan Splash, leading York to a commanding team victory with seven total wins. He swept the 200 IM, 100 back, and 200 back while also helping four relay teams claim first place. His weekend included a school-record 200 free relay performance as the Spartans posted a time of 1:23.46.
MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Tori Ellex (Misericordia / So. / Schuylkill Haven, Pa.) delivered a historic weekend at the Cougar Splash Invitational, winning five events—two individual and three relays—while setting school records in all five. She claimed the 50 free in 23.50, breaking the MAC record and achieving an NCAA “B” cut, and followed with a school-record 51.95 to win the 100 free. Ellex also contributed to winning and record-setting efforts in the 200 medley, 200 free, and 400 medley relays.
WRESTLING (#MACwrestle)
MAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week
Josh Stahl (York / 5th. / Quakertown, Pa.) continued his dominant season with a dual-clinching pin on Friday followed by a championship run at the Cougar Classic. His fall against Misericordia sealed a 21–20 victory via second tiebreaker, and he went 4–0 the next day to win the 197-pound title. The fifth-year standout outscored opponents 40–5 with two pins, a technical fall, and a major decision to improve to 9–0 on the year.
MAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week
Josey Wehr (Eastern / Jr. / Orefield, Pa.) went 3–0 at the Cougar Classic to claim the 117-pound title, highlighted by a decisive 17–9 victory over sixth-ranked Gisele Ramirez (York) in the championship match. The junior continues to establish herself as one of the conference’s top competitors.
