MAC Weekly Awards Announcement (November 4, 2025)

28 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Oct. 27 – Nov. 2

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending November 2, 2025. A total of 28 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Oct. 27, 2025 to Nov. 2, 2025.

FIELD HOCKEY (#MACfh)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Ava Michael (Alvernia / Jr., F / Bloomsburg, Pa.) accounted for all six of Alvernia’s goals in a perfect 2-0 week. She scored four times in a 4-0 victory over Albright before netting both goals in a 2-1 double-overtime win at Hood, including the game-winner on a penalty stroke in the second extra period.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Zoe Caloviras (Alvernia / So., GK / Lititz, Pa.) allowed just one goal in nearly 128 minutes of action while earning two wins in goal. She made three saves in a 4-0 win over Albright and another three in a 2-1 double-overtime victory against Hood.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Gabi Moroney (Stevens / Sr., F / Granby, Mass.) tallied a goal and two assists as Stevens went 2-0 to secure the top seed in the MAC Freedom tournament. She assisted on the Ducks’ first two goals in a 3-1 win over Misericordia and scored her 100th career point with a goal against FDU-Florham, becoming just the fifth player in program history to reach the milestone.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Alyssa Schlossman (DeSales / Jr., GK / Stroudsburg, Pa.) anchored the Bulldogs’ defense in a pair of wins that clinched the No. 3 seed in the MAC Freedom Championship. She totaled 12 saves on the week, including nine in a 3-2 victory over Lebanon Valley and three in a 2-1 win over Arcadia.

FOOTBALL (#MACfb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Mike Galasso (Delaware Valley / Jr., QB / Philadelphia, Pa.) threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns while completing 20 of 28 passes in a 43-10 win over Alvernia. He connected on scoring strikes of 12 and 9 yards as Delaware Valley extended its lead atop the MAC standings.

MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Jason Bateman (Eastern / Jr., LB / Upper Darby, Pa.) led a historic effort for the Eagles, recording nine tackles, including seven solo, one sack, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in a 35-0 shutout win over Widener — the program’s first shutout victory.

MAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Micah Veilleux (Stevenson / Fy., K/P / Annapolis, Md.) was steady on special teams, connecting on his lone field goal attempt from 33 yards while averaging 44 yards per punt on four attempts, with one pinned inside the 20-yard line, in Stevenson’s contest against Lebanon Valley. Veilleux’s consistency and field-position control were key contributors to Stevenson’s success in the special teams phase.

MEN’S GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Freedom Golfer of the Week
Matthew Smith (DeSales / Fy. / Hammonton, N.J.) led the Bulldogs to a fifth place finish at the LVC Fall Invitational firing a 76 to finish T-6th individually at the event.

MEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
Keegan Driscoll (Alvernia / Fy., F / Toronto, Ontario) made an immediate impact in his collegiate debut, scoring two goals to lead Alvernia to a 2-0 weekend. He tallied his first goal in a 4-0 win over SUNY Morrisville before netting the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over SUNY Cortland, a team receiving national votes.

MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Jeff Kreidler (Alvernia / Fy., Goalie / Pittsburgh, Pa.) shined in his first collegiate action, posting a 2-0 record and a .975 save percentage over the weekend. He opened with a 30-save shutout against SUNY Morrisville and followed with 48 saves in a 3-2 win over SUNY Cortland.

WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
Addison Taylert (Lebanon Valley / So., F / Newark, Ohio) totaled three points on two goals and an assist as LVC opened its season with a weekend sweep of Chatham. She recorded all three points in a 4-0 win on Saturday, including the game-winner in the first period, while posting a +3 rating across both games.

MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Audrey Milne (Wilkes / Jr., GK / London, Ontario) made 34 saves in a 3-2 road win over No. 14 SUNY Cortland, surpassing the 1,000 career save mark late in the third period to secure the victory for the Colonels.

MEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Evan Cope (Eastern / Gr., F / Jacksonville, Fla.) capped his career with an explosive week, totaling four goals and one assist across two matches. He tallied two goals and a helper in a 5-0 win over Albright, then added both goals in a 2-2 draw with Widener.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Evan Solley (Alvernia / Gr., GK / Oley, Pa.)  made nine saves while allowing just two goals in a 1-0-1 week. He posted two saves in a 2-1 win over Widener before recording seven stops in a 1-1 draw with Albright, becoming Alvernia’s all-time career saves leader and the active leader across all NCAA divisions. 

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Emerson Kekesi (Stevens / So., M / Columbus, N.J.) scored five goals in two matches to power Stevens to the top seed in the MAC Freedom. He netted his first career hat trick, including a long-range strike from midfield, in a 5-1 win over DeSales, then scored twice in a 3-0 victory over Delaware Valley.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Victor Ciach (FDU-Florham / So., GK / Ringwood, N.J.) earned his fifth shutout of the season with six saves in a 1-0 win over Arcadia, then made nine stops in a 4-1 win over DeSales. He leads the MAC Freedom in both saves and shutouts this year.

WOMEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Meg Kalthof (York / Jr., F / Bel Air, Md.) delivered the game-winning goal with 10 minutes remaining to lift York to victory over Stevenson and secure the No. 2 seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship. The junior’s goal marked her 14th of the season, tying her for second on the program’s single-season scoring list. She also matched the single-season record with six game-winning goals. Kalthof leads the conference in goals (14), game-winning goals (6), and total points (31).

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Araba Abanyie (Widener / Fy., GK / Berlin, N.J.) posted back-to-back shutouts to lead Widener to a 1-0-1 week in conference play. The first-year goalkeeper made two saves in a 1-0 win over Alvernia, including a crucial stop late in the second half to preserve the victory. She followed with eight saves in a scoreless draw against Eastern.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Alana Odom (Stevens / Sr., F / San Diego, Calif.) totaled four goals and an assist as Stevens went 2-0 to clinch the No. 2 seed in the MAC Freedom tournament. She scored twice on five shots in a win over DeSales, then added two more goals and an assist in an 8-0 victory over Delaware Valley.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Abby Fuchs (Arcadia / Sr., GK / Brick, N.J.) recorded two shutouts in a perfect 2-0 week that secured Arcadia’s postseason berth. She made five total saves across wins over FDU-Florham and King’s, finishing the regular season with nine shutouts and a .831 save percentage.

SWIMMING (#MACswim)
MAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week 
Matthew Drake (Arcadia / Jr. / Mohnton, Pa.) earned three individual victories and a relay win in a dual meet against Messiah, sweeping the 50 backstroke (25.23), 50 freestyle (22.66), and 100 freestyle (49.80), while also leading off the winning 200 free relay.

MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week 
Isabella Klemm (York / Sr. / Halethrope, Md.) dominated the weekend, winning four individual events and contributing to three relay victories against St. Vincent. She set a new pool record in the 400 IM (4:38.51) and added wins in the 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, and 100 freestyle..

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL (#MACvb)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Hannah Pringle (Eastern / Sr., OH / East Greenville, Pa.) fueled Eastern’s offense with 63 kills over three matches, highlighted by 21 in a win over Stevenson that lifted the Eagles to first in the MAC Commonwealth standings. 

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Viviana Fragoso (Eastern / Sr., Defensive Specialist / La Mirada, Calif.) anchored Eastern’s defense with 65 digs and six service aces over three matches, including a career-high 32 digs in a five-set battle with Stevens.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Mattea Penner (Lebanon Valley / Sr., OH / Newville, Pa.) tallied 37 kills in eight sets, including a career-high 27 in a 3-2 win over Stevenson. She added five aces, 15 digs, and four blocks as LVC snapped a 13-match losing streak to the Mustangs.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Teaguen Reynolds (Lebanon Valley / Jr., MH / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) totaled 12 blocks and six digs across two wins. She recorded eight blocks in the victory over Stevenson, matching her season high and ranking second-most in a five-set MAC match this season.

WRESTLING (#MACwrestle)
MAC Men's Wrestler of the Week 
Josh Stahl (York / 5th. / Quakertown, Pa.) opened the season going 4-0 to capture the 197-pound title at the Ned McGinley Invitational hosted by King's College. Stahl put together a dominant performance as he outscored his opponents 57-0 with three technical falls and one major decision. He punctuated his day by upending top-seed and nationally-ranked Grant Mathias (USMMA) in the title bout with two takedowns on his way to a 9-0 victory. 

MAC Women's Wrestler of the Week 
Savannah Witt (Eastern / Fy. / Kintnersville, Pa.) won the 124-pound championship at the East Stroudsburg Invitational, going 6-0 on the day with six pins and not allowing a single point scored against her.
