D3football.com All-Region 1
MINNEAPOLIS (Football) – The 2025 D3football.com All-Region 1 Team was announced on Wednesday. A total of 18 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) players were named to the team. Eastern's Jason Bateman highlights the honors with Region 1 Defensive Player of the Year, while Eastern's head coach Billy Crocker takes home Region 1 Coach of the Year honors.
Eastern coach Billy Crocker, who led the Eagles to the third round of the NCAA playoffs in the program’s third varsity season, is the Region 1 Coach of the Year.
Bateman, a junior from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, finished his season with 97 total tackles, including 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, seven forced fumbles and four pass breakups to help the Eagles finish 10-2 on the season. It’s just the third season for Eastern football.

The teams, selected in balloting by Region 1 sports information directors and
D3football.com staff, were chosen from 163 nominations by full Division III member schools. A total of 77 players were chosen. Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for
D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.
