NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending December 14, 2025. A total of 12 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Dec. 8, 2025 to Dec. 14, 2025.
MEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Garrett Cox (Hood / Gr., Forward / Glen Allen, Va.) delivered a dominant performance to lead Hood to a statement 101-75 win over Shenandoah. The graduate forward posted 24 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, recording a double-double while anchoring the Blazers on both ends of the floor. Cox scored 15 points during a key stretch late in the first half, helping Hood close the gap and seize momentum heading into the break.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Jamison Lynam (Arcadia / So., Guard / Lorton, Va.) led Arcadia with 20 points and four rebounds in a narrow 73-71 home loss to Wilkes. The sophomore shot 9-of-17 from the field while adding five assists and a steal. Lynam continues to rank among the MAC Freedom leaders in scoring (18.1 ppg), assists (4.0 apg), and steals (1.6 spg), while shooting 45% from the floor.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Lindsay Kutz (Widener / Sr., Forward / Pottsville, Pa.) led Widener to a 65–61 victory over Dickinson with a near season-high 20 points, six rebounds, and four steals. The senior forward paced the Pride offensively while setting a season best with nine made field goals, helping Widener secure the late nonconference win.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Riley Hevelow (Lebanon Valley / Sr., Guard / Newark, Del.) fueled Lebanon Valley’s fifth straight victory with a standout all-around effort in a 73–56 win at Moravian. The senior recorded season highs of 24 points and seven rebounds while dishing out a career-best six assists. She scored 13 points in the first quarter alone, shooting 5-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from three, as LVC built an early 27-15 advantage.
MEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week
Jack Tos (Misericordia / Sr., F / Burlington, Ontario) scored two goals, including the game-winner, to lift Misericordia to a 5-3 victory at King’s which marked the Cougars’ first win of the season. The senior broke a 3-3 tie early in the third period before sealing the outcome with an empty-net goal in the final minute.
MAC Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week
Ayden Pierce (Misericordia / Fy., Goalie / Oshawan, Ontario) earned his first collegiate victory with a 22-save performance in Misericordia’s 5-3 win at King’s. The first-year goaltender was especially sharp in the third period, stopping all 12 shots he faced to preserve the win and secure the Cougars’ first victory of the campaign.
MEN’S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD (#MACtf)
MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Markus Soennichsen (Stevens / Fy. / Weston, Conn.) broke the Stevens school record in the 600 meters at the Seahawk Shootout, finishing in 1:23.23. The first-year’s performance shaved 1.6 seconds off the previous record set in 2018 and marked a strong early-season showing.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Kane Perry (Stevens / Fy. / Oceanport, N.J.) moved into third place on Stevens all-time shot put list with a throw of 14.74 meters, finishing eighth at the Seahawk Shootout. He also placed 17th in the weight throw with a mark of 13.96 meters in his continued strong debut season.
WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD (#MACtf)
MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Isabella Shanley (Stevens / Jr. / Millersville, Md.) shattered the Stevens school record in the 600 meters at the Seahawk Shootout, placing fourth overall with a time of 1:38.37. Her performance lowered the previous record by more than four seconds, eclipsing a mark that had stood since 2009.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Maggie Previglian (Stevens / Sr. / Vernon, N.J.) took fourth place in the high jump (1.63) and was the highest Division III finisher at the Seahawk Shootout on Friday.
WRESTLING (#MACwrestle)
MAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week
Keegan Demarest (Messiah / So. / Tannersville, Pa.) continued his dominant season with three technical falls at 165 lbs., helping No. 19 Messiah post a 3-0 weekend in dual competition. He opened with a 17-2 technical fall against Delaware Valley before earning two more tech falls against Shenandoah and No. 24 McDaniel, each coming in the first period as the Falcons secured all three team victories.
MAC Women’s Wrestler of the Week
Gisele Ramirez (York / So. / Telford, Pa.) captured the 117-pound title at the Terrier Round Robin, going a perfect 5–0 with five first-period falls. The sophomore advanced through round-robin play before adding three more falls in the championship bracket, including a 92-second pin in the title bout against Alfred State.
