YORK, Pa. (Swimming) –
The first day of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men's and Women's Swimming Championships was completed Thursday at the Graham Aquatic Center.
 
Through four events, Stevens leads the women's standings with 408.5 points. Misericordia is in second with 276 points, Messiah is third with 233 points, Widener is fourth with 176.5 points, and FDU-Florham is fifth with 154 points.
 
Stevens also currently leads the men's standings with 381 points. Widener is in second with 313 points, York is in third with 310 points, Arcadia is in fourth with 198 points, and Misericordia is in fifth with 148 points.

500-YARD FREESTYLE
Women
Junior Tamsin Formon of Misericordia claimed her third title in the 500 Free. Formon clocked in at 5:14.44. York's Annika Doutrich placed second with a time of 5:14.82, while Kylie Martinez of Stevens placed third with a time of 5:21.87.

Men
Widener's Sean Lehan claimed the gold after he swam a 4:40.66 in his first season with the Pride. Liam Perrin of York claimed second with a time of 4:50.04. Ryan Ward of Stevens clocked in at 4:49.66 to round out the top-3. 
 
200-YARD INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY
Women
York's Isabella Klemm collected her second gold medal in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.58, knocking off .33 seconds from her 2024 time. Eszter Kiss of Stevens finished in second with a time of 2:10.45 and Messiah's Grace Schad claimed third-place with a time of 2:12.54.
 
Men
Stevens junior, Angel Velasquez, took first place with a time of 1:53.67. Teammate Edward Plantonov placed second finishing at 1:54.17. York's Bryce Miller claimed third with a time of 1:54.29
 
50-YARD FREESTYLE
Women
Laney Klaus of Stevens clocked in at 24.10 to take first-place. Misericordia's Tori Ellex placed second with a time of 24.28. Arcadia's Mikayla Scardino took third with a time of 24.73.
 
Men
Bryan Collins of York claimed his second gold medal in the 50 Free. Collins finished in 20.83. Teammate Brenden Stuhltrager finished in a close second with a time of 21.20. Alex Chan of Widener finished in third with a time of 21.39.
 
200-YARD MEDLEY RELAY
Women
Stevens' Kai Wong, Adriana Bertolotti, Natalia Brunetti, and Laney Klaus finished with a time of 1:46.09 to take first place. Messiah placed second with a time of 1:47.65. Misericordia placed third with a time of 1:47.76. With this time, Stevens set a new MAC Championship and Overall Record in the event, dethroning the previous time of 1:46:93 set by Messiah in 2018. 
 
Men
To cap the night, York's Bryce Miller, Cooper Stiles, Brenden Stuhltrager, and Bryan Collins placed first with a time of 1:32.50. Stevens placed second with a time of 1:33.89 and Widener took third after finishing in 1:34.30. York's time set a new record in the MAC and MAC Championship beating the previous time of 1:32:93 set by Albright in 2019. 

Day two of the 2025 MAC Swimming Championships will start with the 400 Individual Medley.
