NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending February 2, 2025. A total of 17 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Jan. 27, 2024 to Feb. 2, 2025.
MEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Eric Chamberlain (Albright / Sr., G / Philadelphia, Pa.) had a fantastic week helping the Lions to a 2-0 record with wins over Eastern and Alvernia. Chamberlain dropped a career high 34 points against Eastern shooting 68% from the field. In the same game, Chamberlain added six rebounds, six assists and two steals in 31 minutes of game action. The 34 points is the most points in a game this season for any player against another MAC member institution. In Saturday's thrilling win over Alvernia, Chamberlain scored 19 points, collected three rebounds while adding four assists and two steals. Chamberlain's two game stat line stands at an impressive 26.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 5.0 ASP and 2.0 SPG on 67.5 shooting from the floor.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Ryan Harder (Lebanon Valley / Sr., G/F / Tunkhannock, Pa.) led the Dutchmen to a 1-1 week averaging 27 points per game and shooting 58.8 percent from the field including 64.7 percent on threes. The senior was 11-17 from deep and made all three of his free throw attempts. Harder began the week with a career-high 32 points on 12-18 shooting and 7-10 from long range in an 87-53 victory over King's. He made two threes off the program record and added four rebounds and two assists. The senior ended the week with a game-high 22 points and four rebounds in a 71-62 defeat at conference-leading Stevens. Harder shot fifty percent from the field and was 4-7 on threes.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (#MAChoops)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Reese Harden (Messiah / Gr., G / Upperco, Md.) led the Falcons in yet another 2-0 week to stay undefeated in MAC Commonwealth play. Harden opened the week with 17 points, three assists, two blocks, two rebounds, and a steal in the Falcons 76-51 win over Stevenson on Wednesday. Harden almost had a perfect evening shooting 8-9 from the floor. On Saturday, Harden continued her dominant week with 19 points, seven assists, two rebounds, and a steal in the Falcons 70-43 win over Hood. Harden was also a key factor in the Falcons dominant second-half after Messiah trailed by two at the half. The Falcons outscored the Blazers, 46-17 in the second-half to earn the win and stay undefeated in conference play.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Haley Keenan (Delaware Valley / Gr., G / Bensalem, Pa.) led the Aggies across a 0-2 week. Put together a 26-point and 12-rebound performance on the road at Stevens marking her sixth 20-plus point performance in a contest this season and second in conference play. Led the Aggies in a near-comeback at home against Misericordia with 14 points and 11 rebounds. The performances mark her third and fourth consecutive double-doubles and put her at eight total double-doubles in 19 total games. Additionally, she contributed 10 steals across the two games and three blocks.
MEN’S ICE HOCKEY (#MAChky)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Tyler Ray (Neumann / So., D / Melbourne, Fla.) tallied three goals in a 1-1 MAC week for the Knights. He finished with five shots and a +4. In a 7-1 loss at Wilkes, Ray scored Neumann’s only goal late in the first period. The sophomore followed with two goals in a 5-2 win at Alvernia. Ray opened the scoring midway through the first period. He put the Knights up 4-1 midway through the second period.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Diego D’Alessandro (King’s / So., G / Caledon, Ontario) recorded 60 saves for a .952 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. He opened the weekend with 37 saves in a 5-2 win on the road at Stevenson on Friday before making 23 saves in Saturday's 2-1 home win over Misericordia.

MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Sydney Bradley (Alvernia / Sr., D / Lititz, Pa.) became Alvernia’s new all-time points career points leader with a four point weekend for the Golden Wolves. Bradley led Alvernia to a 1-0-1 weekend with a goal and three assists on the weekend. In a 3-3 tie with Arcadia on Friday, Bradley scored Alvernia’s third goal of the game on a power-play opportunity late in the second period. Bradley then followed that with a three assist game in a 5-2 win over Neumann on Saturday. Bradley assisted on the game-tying goal for Alvernia early in the second period, and her second assist came on the game-winning goal later in the second period. Bradley capped off the day with her third assist on Alvernia’s fourth goal five minutes into the third. Bradley’s four points on the weekend puts her at 73 career points, surpassing Alvernia’s previous career record of 71 career points.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Hannah Bergeron (Arcadia / Sr., G / Leominster, Mass.) collected her seventh shutout this season and her 17th career shutout this past weekend in the Knights 3-0 win over Lebanon Valley. Arcadia went 1-0-1 this past weekend where Bergeron made 36 saves.
MEN’S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD (#MACtf)
MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Rory Lieberman (Lebanon Valley / So. / Danville, Pa.) ran a pair of top MAC times as LVC had a strong showing against mainly Division I competition at the Scarlet Knight Open. The sophomore ran the fastest mile time in the conference at 4:14.14 to finish second out of 43 runners. His time also qualified him for the AARTFC Championships and is third in the program record books. Lieberman's converted time of 4:17.40 for track size leads the MAC, is fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region, eighth in AARTFC, and 45th in Division III. The sophomore also ran the 800 meters and qualified for the MAC Championships with a time of 1:59.50. His converted time of 2:01.21 is eighth in the MAC and 22nd in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Andrew Mott (York / Gr. / Dillsburg, Pa.) had a big meet at the George Mason Patriot Games on Saturday. Mott continued his outstanding season as he won the shot put with a best toss of 16.56 meters. Mott won the event by 1.84 meters as he beat five Division I throwers and 14 Division III competitors. The distance is also the best in the MAC this year by over four feet. Mott now has 27 career wins as a Spartan.
WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD (#MACtf)
MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Halle Jennett (Messiah / Sr. / Allentown, Pa.) ran a season-best time of 25.79 in the 200 Meter Dash, finishing third out of 50 runners and as the top Division III competitor on day one of the 2025 Bison Open and Multi hosted by Bucknell on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1. Her time improves her own second-fastest time on the Messiah Indoor Top Ten list. On day two, Jennett ran a new personal-best time in the 400 Meter of 59.18, finishing first among 19 runners. Jennett's time is now the third-fastest on the Messiah Indoor Top Ten list.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Anna Sawicki (Lebanon Valley / Fy. / East Brunswick, N.J.) was the top collegiate finisher in the pentathlon and second overall with a school record point total of 3,235 topping her previous record of 3,081 from earlier this season at the Scarlet Knight Open. Her converted point total of 3213 points for track size is 17th in the nation, third in the Mid-Atlantic Region, third in AARTFC, and second in the MAC this year. The first-year had career best performances in four of the five events and finished first or second in each one. She started with a career best time of 9.68 seconds in the 60 hurdles to score 773 points. Her time is sixth in the MAC. She then jumped 1.55 meters (5'1") in the high jump to score 678 points. Her mark would be fifth in the MAC behind her season-best height. Sawicki continued with a career-best throw of 10.96 meters (35'11.5") in the shot put to score 592 points. Her mark is eighth in the MAC. She had a career best mark of 4.89 meters (16'0.5") in the long jump to score 530 points. That mark is ninth in the MAC. Sawicki then finished with a MAC qualifying time of 2:32.52 in the 800 meters to score 662 points.

MAC Swimmer of the Week
Jacob Rose (Misericordia / Jr. / Elmira, N.Y.) won three events in a 123-78 win at Messiah to close the regular season. Won the 50 free (22.73), 100 fly (54.38) and 200 free relay (1:31.65).
WOMEN’S SWIMMING (#MACswim)
MAC Swimmer of the Week
Tamsin Formon (Misericordia / Jr. / Gillette, N.J.) won three events in a 125-80 win at Messiah to cap a perfect regular season with three MAC-best times of the week. Won the 1000 free (10:57) with the fastest time of the year. Won 500 free (5:20.06) with the fifth-fastest time of the year. Won the 200 free relay (1:42.07) with the fifth-fastest time of the year.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL (#MACvb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Charles Casas (Hood / So., OH / Rehoboth Beach, Del.) is the catalyst for the Blazers and brought his best in the 2-1 week. In the five set win over Wilson, Casas earned 26 kills along with eight digs. In the fifth set where they needed him most, he started with four kills in the 5-2 run to set up Hood to earn their first win of the season. In the sweep over Bryn Athyn, he posted a .433 hitting percentage on his 17 kills. He played clean volleyball and spread the love to his fellow teammates to earn a dominant win.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Rich Alvarez (King’s / Sr., MB / Lynbrook, N.Y.) collected 12 blocks in the Monarchs' 3-0 week. He earned a career-high of seven blocks in the 3-0 win over Manhattanville and produced four blocks in the 3-2 victory over Russell Sage on Saturday afternoon.

Wrestler of the Week
Nikosh Marston (Misericordia / Fy. / Norristown, Pa.) went 4-0 on the week and won the Rennie Rodarmel Allstate Invitational at Lycoming. Had two decisions before recording a major decision in the 133 pound finals. Added a decision in a dual meet loss to Lycoming earlier in the week. On Jan. 29, Marston won over Lycoming’s Thomas Conselyea by a 7-2 decision. At the Rodarmel Invitational, he received a first-round bye then defeated Scranton’s Charles Arobone with a 8-3 decision. In the semifinals, he faced Lycoming’s Thomas Conselyea again and defeated Conselyea by a 4-1 decision. In the final round, he won by a 11-3 major decision over Nick Germano of King’s.
