ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Spartan graduate thrower Andrew Mott clinched All-American status with a seventh-place finish in the shot put on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Nazareth University.

Mott secured his spot on the podium on his third attempt which traveled 17.25m (57' 4.25"), good for a new indoor personal-best and an indoor school record mark.

This is Mott's second indoor All-American honor in the shot put as he has finished seventh in back-to-back years. He is now four-time NCAA All-American with honors in both the shot put and discus at both the indoor and outdoor championships.
