NEW ORLEANS – Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the season. Award winners were determined by a vote of USTFCCCA member coaches after the 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio. Only those individuals from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Year

METRO REGION – Matayo McGraw – Widener
McGraw, a Harford, Maryland native, took home the triple jump title at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships with a personal-best mark of 15.32 meters (50 feet, 3¼ inches). Earlier in the season, he also claimed individual titles in both the high jump and triple jump at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. He wasn’t the only one making noise at the championships.

MID-ATLANTIC REGION – Andrew Mott – York (Pa.)
Andrew Mott, from Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, also delivered a stellar year for York (Pa.). Mott placed third in the discus at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, finishing off an undefeated regular season in the event. His top throw of the year — a 55.57-meter (182 feet, 4 inches) mark at the Danny Curran Invitational — stood as one of the best in the country. At the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, Mott dominated the throwing events, winning both the discus and the shot put, with a personal record.

Women’s Coach of the Year

METRO REGION – Tim Wilson – Widener
Widener continued its outstanding postseason under the leadership of Head Coach Tim Wilson, now in his second year at the helm. Wilson guided the Pride to a dominant team title at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, where they won nine events and shattered three meet records in the process. The momentum didn’t stop there — Widener athletes set program records in 10 events over the course of the season, with two of those performances standing as all-time conference records. This is Wilson's first USTFCCCA Outdoor Metro Region Coach of the Year award.

Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year

METRO REGION – Gavin Colley – Widener
Adding to this success was first-year assistant coach Gavin Colley, whose athletes contributed an impressive 96 of the team’s 171 points at the conference meet. Under his guidance, Widener’s competitors earned top-5 Metro Region rankings in six different events. This is Colley's first USTFCCCA Outdoor Metro Region Assistant Coach of the Year award.
