Newtown, PA (Conference News) - The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced an enhanced three-year Enterprise Membership with Women Leaders in Sports, the leading organization dedicated to advancing women working in sports and transforming the landscape of leadership in the industry.

With this conference-wide engagement, the MAC becomes the first NCAA Division III Conference to engage with Women Leaders at the Enterprise level. This reinforces the MAC’s unwavering commitment to supporting women’s leadership and fostering meaningful professional development opportunities across its member institutions.

This initiative reflects the MAC’s long-standing commitment to the core principles of NCAA Division III, particularly gender equity and the holistic development of individuals. Through this partnership, the MAC aims to empower its current female administrators and attract and retain future leaders in college athletics.

This multi-year collaboration seeks to create meaningful opportunities for professional development, networking, and mentorship for individuals at the MAC’s member institutions. The MAC will provide its administrators and coaches with access to the Women Leaders in Sports programming, which includes leadership workshops, virtual events, career resources, and its preeminent National Convention each October.

“We are incredibly proud to deepen our commitment to the professional growth of our administrators, coaches, and staff,” said Megan Morrison, MAC Executive Director. “This new Enterprise Membership is more than just a membership; it is a clear statement that the MAC is dedicated to fostering an environment where our female leaders can thrive. By providing these enhanced resources, we are setting a new standard for what it means to support gender equity and professional development within Division III athletics.”

The three-year commitment is designed to support both the recruitment and retention of women in athletic leadership, coaching, and administration across the conference’s 16 (soon-to-be 18) member institutions.

“We are thrilled to expand our engagement with the Middle Atlantic Conference and support the incredible women leaders across the conference,” said Christina Turner, Chief Strategy and Operating Officer of Women Leaders in Sports. “This enhanced membership reflects the MAC’s strong commitment to advancing women’s leadership and creating meaningful professional development opportunities across its institutions. We’re proud to be a partner in this important work.”
