NEWTOWN, Pa. (Baseball) – The Arcadia Knights were selected as the favorite to repeat as champions in the 2026 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom baseball coaches. The Knights collected five first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 44 points. Misericordia and Stevens each received one first-place votes to round out the tallies.

In 2025, Arcadia claimed its fifth conference title in program history as they upset #2 seeded Misericordia and #1 seeded Stevens in the championship series en route to the title and NCAA Tournament AQ.
In the NCAA Regionals, the Knights would defeat Centre College in the opening game but would then drop two straight games to end their season.
The 2026 season is set to begin on Friday, Feb. 20. Conference play will begin on Friday, March 13.
The 2026 MAC Freedom Baseball Championship is set for May 1-2 and May 8-9. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
