How It Happened
The Spartans pumped in a pair of goals a minute apart in the second quarter to take full control of the game. Kelbie Linebaugh scored the first goal of the game on the first shot of the second quarter and 61 seconds later Aliza Staub knocked in a long-range rebound from the left wing.
