Day One of the 2026 MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships Concludes at the Plex

Lebanon Valley men lead with 60.5 points; Lebanon Valley women lead with 31 points

READING, Pa. (Indoor Track & Field) –
 The first day of the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships were completed Friday at Alvernia University’s The Flynn Plex. The men completed seven events, while the women completed five events.

Lebanon Valley leads the men in the scoring with 60.5 points after day one. They are followed by Widener (44) and York (35.5). On the women’s side, Lebanan Valley takes the early lead with 31 points, followed by King's (29) and Widener (20).

MEN’S RESULTS
5,000-Meter Run
Lebanon Valley's Andrew Namatka won gold with a time of 14:47.18. Teammate Joseph Chukoskie took silver with a time of 14:49.28, and Messiah's Louka Fetter won bronze with a time of 14:54.30.

Distance Medley Relay (DMR)
Eastern's Robert Walton, Christian Scales, Joshua Knox-Wagner, and Ryle Mellinger won gold with a MAC Championship record time of 10:14.98. They broke the record previously set by Messiah last year. King's took silver with a time of 10:17.62, and Messiah won bronze with a time of 10:27.72.
 
4x200-Meter Relay
Lebanon Valley's Donovan Goundie, Leo Tirado, Caleb Auzenne, and Braden Smith won gold with a time of 1:30.72. Delaware Valley won silver with a time of 1:31.90, and Arcadia won bronze with a time of 1:31.91.
 
Weight Throw
Misericordia's Stephen Gihr won gold with a mark of 17.04 meters. York's Aidan Rollinson took silver with a mark of 16.97 meters, and teammate Andrew Manning won bronze with a mark of 16.72 meters.

High Jump
Widener's Matayo McGraw won gold a jump of 1.97 meters. Lebanon Valley's Leo Tirado won silver with a mark of 1.94 meters, and Eastern's Keyon Jones took home bronze with a mark of 1.94 meters.
 
Long Jump
Widener's Jack Csensits won gold with a jump of 7.10 meters. Teammate Matayo McGraw won silver with a mark of 7.01 meters, and Eastern's Elijah McCullough took bronze with a mark of 6.93 meters.
 
Pole Vault
York's Jonah Arnold won gold with a jump of 4.29 meters. Arcadia's Matthew Schutz won silver with a jump of 4.24 meters, and York’s Brody Weachter took bronze with a jump of 4.09 meters.
 
Heptathlon (through four events)
Stevens Brandon Kiefer recorded 2,652 points after day one of the heptathlon. Lebanon Valley's Graiso Michajluk is second with 2,631 points, and York's Isaiah Adamson is third with 2,610 points.  
 
60-Meter Hurdles (prelims)
The top-eight from Friday’s preliminary races qualified for Saturday’s final, including: 1. William Ladd, Stevens (8.61), 2. Fritz Clement, Eastern (8.70), 3. Ian Hopkins, Eastern (8.70), 4. WOMEN’S RESULTS
5,000-Meter Run
DeSales Ellie Kozich won gold and broke a MAC Championship record with a time of 17:12.98. Widener's Kathryn Long took silver with a time of 17:51.64, and Messiah's Delaney Turk won bronze with a time of 18:07.87.
 
Distance Medley Relay (DMR)
Misericordia's Madison Kammer, Emily Krevey, Grace Morningstar, and Madison Hedglin won gold and broke a MAC Championship record with a time of 12:08.89. Lebanon Valley took silver with a time of 12:27.63, and Messiah won bronze with a time of 12:28.09.
 
4x200-Meter Relay
Lebanon Valley's Ava Matter, Gabby Welter, Mikayla Mitchell, and Mileyshka Calderon won gold with a time of 1:46.63. King's took silver with a time of 1:47.88, and Arcadia won bronze with a time of 1:49.21.
 
Weight Throw
King's Brandy Varner won gold with a mark of 17.12 meters. Teammate Caitlin Kirk took silver with a mark of 16.39 meters, and Eastern's Savana Dodd won bronze with a mark of 16.17 meters.

Long Jump
Alvernia's Britney Anyia won gold with a distance of 5.50 meters. DeSales Brooke Signorella took silver with a mark of 5.48 meters, and Eastern's Janitza Hernandez-Albino took bronze with a mark of 5.33 meters.
