MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete History
NEWTOWN, Pa. (Academic News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Executive Director Megan Morrison announced the 2025 Fall MAC Senior Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. A senior student-athlete from each of the seven fall sports (men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball) was recognized for their strong academic and athletic prowess.
LOUKA FETTER
Men's Cross Country - Messiah University
Louka Fetter (Chesapeake, Va.) has been a standout performer for the Falcons throughout his men’s cross country career, earning NCAA Championship berths in 2023 and 2025 while collecting First Team All-MAC honors in all four seasons (2022–25). He was named the MAC Rookie of the Year in 2022 and earned All-Region recognition three times. Fetter posted a personal-best 8K time of 24:38.7 at the Lock Haven Invitational during his sophomore season and recorded a season-best 25:02.8 at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in 2024, where he finished as Messiah’s top runner. He served as team captain during the 2025 season and contributed to multiple first-place team finishes at meets throughout his career.
Fetter, a politics and international relations major, holds a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and has earned numerous academic accolades, including CSC Academic All-District honors in 2024 and 2025, All-MAC Academic Team recognition in 2024 and 2025, and four selections to the MAC Academic Honor Roll (2022–25). In addition to his success in the classroom and on the course, Fetter has demonstrated strong leadership and service by promoting voter registration and engagement in his community, volunteering as a track and field coach at his high school, assisting with hurricane relief efforts during a spring break service trip, and serving as a team manager while helping the coaching staff with administrative duties.
COYLA BARTHOLOMEW
Women's Cross Country - Lebanon Valley College
Coyla Bartholomew (Danville, Pa.) has been a key contributor to the Lebanon Valley women’s cross country program, earning All-Region honors three times, including a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in 2025. A two-time All-MAC First Team selection (2023, 2024) and two-time All-MAC Second Team honoree (2022, 2025), Bartholomew was named the MAC Rookie of the Year in 2022 and helped lead the Dutchmen to the program’s first MAC Championship in 2025, along with a historic third-place finish at regionals. She also qualified individually for the NCAA Division III Championships in 2025, finishing 219th nationally, and played a major role in elevating the program’s success throughout her career.
Bartholomew, an exercise science major, holds a 3.79 grade-point average and has earned numerous academic accolades, including USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors in 2023 and 2024, two College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections (2023, 2024), and Academic All-MAC recognition in both seasons. A four-time MAC Academic Honor Roll selection, EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll honoree, and seven-time Dean’s List member, she has excelled both academically and athletically. Away from competition, Bartholomew has served as a two-year team captain, participated in Student Government, and represented the institution as a Valley Ambassador.
GABI MORONEY
Field Hockey - Stevens Institute of Techology
Gabi Moroney (Granby, Mass.) has been a standout student-athlete for Stevens Institute of Technology, earning NFHCA Second Team All-America honors in 2025 after another dominant season. A two-time First Team NFHCA All-Region and First Team All-MAC Freedom selection (2024, 2025), Moroney has established herself among the program’s all-time greats, currently ranking fifth in career goals (44) and fifth in points (102) in school history. She totaled 38 points on 17 goals and four assists during her senior season, following a stellar junior campaign in which she started all 21 games, led the team with 16 goals, six game-winning goals, and 37 points, and averaged a conference-best 1.5 goals per game in MAC Freedom play. Throughout her career, Moroney has consistently produced offensively while playing a key role in Stevens’ success.
Moroney holds a 3.87 grade-point average and has excelled academically, earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in 2025, Academic All-MAC recognition in 2024, and three selections to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, along with four MAC Academic Honor Roll honors. Away from the field, she has demonstrated strong leadership and service as a Morale Chair on the executive team for StevensTHON, Vice President of New Member Education on the Alpha Phi executive council, and as a volunteer coach for Hoboken Youth Field Hockey.
DREW CAMPBELL
Football - Lebanon Valley College
Drew Campbell (Reading, Pa.) has been a key contributor for the Lebanon Valley football program, earning multiple All-MAC honors during his career at fullback. A two-time All-MAC First Team selection (2023, 2024) and All-MAC Second Team honoree in 2025, Campbell helped lead the Dutchmen to three Centennial-MAC Bowl Series appearances. He appeared in every game over his final three seasons, recording 12 receptions for 98 yards as a senior after posting three touchdowns and 115 receiving yards in 2024. During his junior campaign, he averaged 23.0 yards per catch and tallied a season-long 62-yard touchdown reception in a victory over Stevenson. Campbell also totaled 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2023, highlighted by an 80-yard performance in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series. He served as a team captain during the 2025 season.
Campbell, a history major, holds a 3.59 grade-point average and has earned extensive academic recognition, including three College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections (2023–25), Academic All-MAC honors in 2023 and 2024, and four MAC Academic Honor Roll accolades. A six-time Dean’s List honoree and EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll selection, Campbell has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
ETHAN HAGEN
Men's Soccer - Stevens Institute of Technology
Ethan Hagen (Union, N.J.) has been a leader on the back line for Stevens Institute of Technology, earning MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2025 after a standout senior campaign. A two-time United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region selection (2024, 2025), Hagen also collected First Team All-MAC Freedom honors in 2024 and 2025 after earning Second Team recognition in 2023. Known for anchoring one of the conference’s top defenses, he started nearly every match during his career and played a key role in multiple clean sheets, helping the Ducks maintain a 0.65 goals-against average during the 2024 season. Hagen contributed offensively as well, registering assists in conference play and logging heavy minutes, including extended NCAA Tournament action.
Hagen, a mechanical engineering major, holds a 3.90 grade-point average and has excelled academically, earning Second Team United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America honors and College Sports Communicators Second Team Academic All-America recognition in 2025. He is also a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection (2023–25). Away from the field, Hagen has been active in community engagement efforts, participating in StevensTHON and the MLK Week of Service while also helping lead activities at National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
TAHLIA LLOYD
Women's Soccer - Messiah University
Tahlia Lloyd (Durham, N.C.) has been a cornerstone of the Messiah women’s soccer program, earning United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-America honors in 2025 along with MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year recognition. A multi-time all-region selection, Lloyd collected USC First Team All-Region honors in 2025 and Second Team recognition in 2024, while also earning All-MAC Commonwealth accolades throughout her career. She started every game during both her sophomore and junior seasons and followed with a strong senior campaign in 2025, totaling 10 points on three goals and four assists while continuing to anchor the Falcons’ defense. Lloyd previously recorded 12 points on five goals and two assists in 2023 and added three goals during the 2024 season.
Lloyd, a business administration major, holds a 3.99 grade-point average and has excelled academically, earning CSC Academic Second Team All-America honors in 2025 to go along with three CSC Academic All-District selections (2023–25) and four appearances on the MAC Academic Honor Roll. Away from the field, she has demonstrated strong leadership and service through involvement with Messiah FCA’s leadership team, participation in a mission trip to Colombia, service at the Center for Champions, and leadership roles within the women’s soccer program.
JENNA SCHUDA
Women's Volleyball - Misericordia University
Jenna Schuda (Downingtown, Pa.) has been a standout performer for the Misericordia women’s volleyball program, earning MAC Freedom Player of the Year honors and AVCA Honorable Mention All-America recognition during her career. A multi-time First Team All-MAC Freedom selection and AVCA All-Region honoree, Schuda cemented her place in program history as the Cougars’ all-time leader in assists (3,763), assists per set (8.33), and service aces (284). She started every match during her standout 2024 season, totaling 1,041 assists, 59 service aces, and a .331 hitting percentage while leading the offense. As a senior in 2025, she added 170 kills, 966 assists, 73 service aces, 298 digs, and 35 blocks, capping one of the most decorated careers by a setter in program history.
Schuda holds a 3.91 grade-point average and has excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-MAC honors, CSC Academic All-District recognition, four MAC Academic Honor Roll selections, and eight appearances on the Dean’s List. She also served as the MAC SAAC President in 2025. Her combination of academic success and elite on-court performance has made her a key leader for Misericordia throughout her career.
