NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending March 15, 2026. A total of 21 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Mar. 9, 2026 to Mar. 15, 2026.
BASEBALL (#MACbaseball)
MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Brian McDermott (York / So., P / Clarksburg, Md.) delivered a dominant outing in a 1-0 victory over Eastern. The sophomore allowed just two hits and one walk over eight shutout innings while striking out five to earn the win.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Matt McSorley (Eastern / Fy., Outfield / Woolwich, N.J.) homered in three straight games during the week against Neumann and York. The first-year recorded five hits, six runs scored, and seven RBIs, including a pair of two-run homers in the weekend series with York.
MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Landon Sexton (Lebanon Valley / So., P / Marietta, Pa.) struck out a career-high nine batters over six shutout innings in a 15-0 win over King’s. The sophomore allowed just two hits and faced only three batters over the minimum in the victory.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Kody Phillips (Lebanon Valley / So., C/OF / Millersville, Md.) led the Dutchmen to a conference-opening sweep of King’s while batting .750 across the series. The sophomore totaled nine hits, including four doubles, with nine RBIs and seven runs scored, while also delivering the game-winning RBI in Sunday’s comeback win.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Davis Fisher (York / Sr., Attack / Arnold, Md.) recorded 12 points in a pair of wins over Swarthmore and Ohio Wesleyan. The senior tallied six goals and six assists, including a helper on the game-winner in York’s double-overtime victory at Swarthmore.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Nate Howe (Albright / Jr., Defense / Wilmington, Del.) totaled six caused turnovers and 12 ground balls during the week. The junior recorded three caused turnovers in each game and added a goal against Juniata.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Adam DeCristofaro (Stevens / So., Midfield / Mount Olive, N.J.) scored six goals and added an assist in a 2-0 week for the No. 7 Ducks. He netted three goals in each game, including two during a key comeback run in an overtime victory over Union.
MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Kellen Markley (Lebanon Valley / Sr., Goalie / North Bend, Wash.) made 21 saves while posting a 63.6 save percentage in a 2-0 week. The senior recorded nine saves in a win over Susquehanna and added 12 more while helping LVC rally for a one-goal victory over Immaculata.
WOMEN’S LACROSSE (#MAClax)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Zoe Dicks (Albright / Sr., Attack / West Hanover, Pa.) recorded 19 points across two victories for the Lions. The senior finished the week with eight goals and 11 assists while setting program single-game records with seven assists and 13 points.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Madison Warlow (Widener / So., Goalie / West Deptford, N.J.) made 11 saves in a 9-8 overtime victory over St. Mary’s (Md.). The sophomore also made a key save with three seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Julianna Medina (FDU-Florham / Sr., Attack / Linwood, N.J.) produced nine points in a 13-12 victory over Bard. The senior totaled six goals and three assists while also winning eight draw controls.
MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Chloe Moser (Lebanon Valley / So., Defense / Boyertown, Pa.) anchored the Dutchmen defense in a 16-6 win over Elizabethtown. The sophomore recorded 10 draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers while helping limit the Blue Jays to three goals over the final three quarters.
SOFTBALL (#MACsb)
MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Alexis Laboy (Albright / So., P / Boyertown, Pa.) picked up two wins across 14.2 innings of work. The sophomore allowed just two earned runs and recorded a complete-game shutout against Alvernia while striking out nine batters during the week.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Brielle Rosario (Messiah / Sr., Outfield / Warwick, N.Y.) led the Falcons during a 5-1 week, including a conference-opening sweep of Widener. The senior batted .526 with six extra-base hits, eight RBIs, and nine runs scored.
MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Morgan Mecham (Delaware Valley / Sr., P / Blackfoot, Idaho) went 2-0 with one save while allowing just one earned run across 13 innings. The senior struck out 12 batters and highlighted the week with a complete-game shutout of PSU-Altoona.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Isabela Lipsky (Stevens / Fy., Infield / Parsippany, N.J.) powered the Ducks to a 4-0 week while going 5-for-8 with eight RBIs and eight runs scored. The first-year added two home runs, five stolen bases, and five walks during the stretch.

MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Zach Schrader (Lebanon Valley / So. / Reading, Pa.) won both of his No. 1 singles matches during Saturday’s dual matches. The sophomore clinched the team victory over Eastern and later added a three-set singles win against Ursinus.
WOMEN’S TENNIS (#MACtennis)
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Michelle Timothy (Albright / Sr. / Reading, Pa.) went undefeated with a 4-0 record across singles and doubles play. The senior earned two singles victories, including a three-set comeback against Methodist.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Laken Kelly (Lebanon Valley / So. / York, Pa.) delivered the match-clinching singles victory in both of LVC’s wins over Eastern and Ursinus. The sophomore extended her singles winning streak to five matches during the week.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL (#MACvb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Josh Clendening (Arcadia / Sr., OH / Langhorne, Pa.) totaled 35 kills across two matches during the week. The senior added five service aces and 17 digs while hitting .315 in contests against Widener and Eastern.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Reece Dodd (Arcadia / So., Middle Hitter / Wilmington, Del.) recorded 12 total blocks while helping the Knights go 1-1 on the week. The sophomore also contributed 21 kills across the two matches.
