NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending February 22, 2026. A total of 20 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Feb. 23, 2026 to Mar. 1, 2026.
BASEBALL (#MACbaseball)
MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Colby Yaich (Albright / Sr., P / Exeter, Pa.) made an impressive season debut, tossing six innings of one-run ball in a 6-1 win over Mass Maritime. The senior allowed just five hits while striking out five to earn the victory and open his season 1-0.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Drew Hurst (Messiah / Jr., Third Base / Ephrata, Pa.) powered the Falcons’ offense with a .476 batting average (10-for-21), collecting two doubles, a home run, and seven RBIs. He capped the week with a perfect 5-for-5 performance against No. 22 CNU and consistently delivered in key matchups, including against nationally ranked opponents.
MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Bryan Henry (Misericordia / Jr., P / Drexel Hill, Pa.) dominated in the spring opener, firing a complete-game, one-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Norwich. The junior struck out five and allowed just one walk over nine stellar innings.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Noah Fiorillo (FDU-Florham / Fy., First Base / Mineola, N.Y.) slashed .412 with seven hits, including two doubles and two triples, while driving in seven runs and scoring eight times across four games. The first-year posted a 1.239 OPS and played a key role in multiple high-scoring efforts for the Devils.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Nate Schilling (York / So., Attack / Webster, N.Y.) tallied six points in No. 7 York’s win over Kenyon, dishing out a career-best four assists. He fueled a decisive second-quarter surge and assisted on a key man-up goal during a game-clinching run.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Sawyer Simeone (York / Jr., LSM / Worthington, Ohio) anchored the Spartans’ defense with career highs of four caused turnovers and five ground balls in a dominant victory. His third-quarter effort helped spark a decisive run as York held its third straight opponent under 10 goals.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Ryan Grace (Lebanon Valley / So., Attack / Hershey, Pa.) totaled 15 points (8G, 7A) in a 2-0 week for the Dutchmen. He erupted for seven points in a rout of Albright and added eight more, including the game-winner, in a victory over Goucher.
MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Connor Rowe (Lebanon Valley / Fy., Midfield / Lebanon, Pa.) controlled the faceoff X, winning 37 of 51 attempts while collecting 19 ground balls in two victories. The first-year also scored the first two goals of his collegiate career during the standout week.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Zoe Dicks (Albright / Sr., Attack / West Hanover, Pa.) recorded 15 points across two games, scoring six goals and adding seven assists. She set a career high in points in a game while also surpassing 100 career draw controls and finishing the week with 16 draws.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Zoe Cassell (York / So., Goalie / Hampstead, Md.) earned the win in her first collegiate start, making 10 saves in a top-25 road victory at Scranton. She made six stops in the fourth quarter to secure the 12-9 triumph.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Abbie Hostetler (Delaware Valley / So., Attack / Blandon, Pa.) exploded for 13 points (7G, 6A) in a season-opening 23-3 victory. She added 15 shots, four ground balls, and contributions across the stat sheet in a commanding performance.

Jordyn Chan (Arcadia / Sr., Midfield / Mount Laurel, N.J.) filled the stat sheet in a 2-0 week, combining for 14 draw controls, six ground balls, and three caused turnovers. She also scored four goals across the two home victories.

MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Miley Beachel (Lebanon Valley / Fy., P / McClure, Pa.) earned a save in her first collegiate pitching appearance, tossing 2.2 innings to close out a 5-3 win over Marian. Entering with runners on base, she allowed just one hit to secure the victory.

Holly Grube (Lebanon Valley / So., Second Base / New Providence, Pa.) went 4-for-6 at the plate, highlighted by a solo home run and two RBIs in a win over Marian. She also earned the win in the circle, throwing 4.1 innings to cap a strong all-around performance.

MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Marcelo Menchaca (Albright / Fy.) posted a 4-0 week, sweeping two singles matches in straight sets and earning two doubles victories. One of his singles wins included a dominant 6-0, 6-0 scoreline.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
Mason Dissinger (Lebanon Valley / Fy. / Hummelstown, Pa.) secured the match-clinching point in a 4-3 win over Johnson & Wales with a straight-set singles victory. He also contributed a doubles win and improved to 5-3 on the season.

Daniela Diez (Albright / Fy.) went undefeated in singles and doubles, earning two singles wins and two 6-0 doubles victories. Her week included a gritty three-set singles triumph over Salisbury.

Katie Berra (Lebanon Valley / So. / Harrisburg, Pa.) did not drop a game in singles or doubles during a 6-1 win over Johnson & Wales. She delivered the match-clinching point and remains unbeaten in dual play this season.

MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Alex Kagoro (Messiah / Sr., OH / Irondequoit, N.Y.) led the No. 6 Falcons to a 4-0 week with 79 kills, averaging 5.64 kills per set while hitting .373. His week included a season-high 27 kills against Randolph-Macon.
MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Aidan Dunwoody (Messiah / Fy., Libero / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) totaled 29 digs during a 4-0 stretch, highlighted by nine digs against Randolph-Macon. The first-year libero also contributed an assist in conference play as the Falcons opened MAC action with a win.
