AUSTIN, Texas – On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators announced their Academic All-American team for the 2025-26 women's basketball season. Liv Monturo was named to the second team after a great year on the court and in the classroom for the Falcons.
On the court, Liv Monturo was a unanimous All-American after a dominant season for the Falcons. Monturo led the Falcons with 21.0 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game. Monturo also added 54 assists, 38 steals and 38 blocks. Monturo also ranks fifth in the country with 588 points, eighth in points per game, and 32nd with a 51.9 field goal percentage. Also, she became the 27th player in program history to reach 1000 career points in just three seasons of competition for the Falcons.
In the classroom, Monturo holds a 3.95 cumulative GPA in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership in grad school.
