The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Executive Director Megan Morrison announced the 2026 Spring MAC Senior Scholar-Athletes on Friday. A senior student-athlete from each of the 11 spring sports (baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's outdoor track & field, and men's volleyball) were recognized for their strong academic and athletic prowess.
Erik Sibbach (Boxford, Mass.) has established himself as one of the most dominant arms in the region throughout his career at Stevens. A two-time All-American in 2024, Sibbach’s trophy case includes being named the ABCA Region 4 Pitcher of the Year and the MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year. A consistent force on the mound, he is a three-time All-MAC Freedom selection, earning First Team honors once and Second Team honors twice. Entering his final campaigns as a Baseball Collegian Preseason Player to Watch, Sibbach has remained a cornerstone of the Ducks’ rotation and a primary reason for the team’s postseason success. In the classroom, Sibbach is a Civil Engineering major who has balanced a demanding technical curriculum with elite athletic performance. He is a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree and a recipient of Academic All-MAC honors. A regular member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll, Sibbach also translates his discipline into campus leadership. He is an active member of the Stevens Baseball Leadership Council and a dedicated participant in StevensTHON, helping raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Women's Golf - York College of Pennsylvania
Grace Strickland (Xenia, Ohio) has been a driving force behind the Spartans’ dominance on the links, helping lead York College to a Conference Team Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Championship. Strickland reached the pinnacle of individual achievement as the Conference Player of the Year and Individual Champion, outperforming the field to secure the title. A model of consistency throughout her career, she is a three-time All-Conference selection, including two years on the First Team and one on the Second Team, cementing her legacy as one of the most decorated golfers in program history. Off the course, Strickland is an Exercise Science major who has maintained an elite academic standard. She has been named a WGCA Scholar All-American, a prestigious national honor, and is a two-time Academic All-MAC selection. A two-time USILA All-American (Honorable Mention) and a 2026 Preseason All-American, Lesizza’s impact is etched in the record books as the school-record holder in caused turnovers. His dominance in the conference is unmatched, having been named the MAC Freedom Defenseman of the Year for two consecutive seasons and earning First Team All-MAC Freedom honors three times. In the classroom, Lesizza is an Information Systems major who has balanced elite athletic performance with high-level academic achievement. He was recognized as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection for his commitment to his studies. A Team Captain, Luke’s leadership extends into the community; he helped host a youth lacrosse clinic with the Bronx Lacrosse Group and has been a key participant in the program’s Lacrosse Out Cancer initiatives, demonstrating a dedicated commitment to service.

Her ability to shut down elite attackers and transition the ball has been a cornerstone of the Ducks’ sustained success. Off the field, Sullivan is a Chemical Engineering major who has reached the pinnacle of academic achievement, being named a First Team College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American. Her consistent performance has earned her national and regional acclaim, including Second Team and Third Team NFCA All-Region honors. A perennial standout, she is a two-time First Team All-Conference selection, feared by pitchers for her ability to ignite the York offense from the top of the lineup. Off the field, Barstad is an Elementary/Special Education major who has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to academic excellence. In the classroom, Kanz is a Mechanical Engineering major who has balanced the intensive demands of his degree with high-level athletic success. Off the court, Untermeyer is a Physics major who has excelled in one of the most demanding academic disciplines. Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Lebanon Valley College
