NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending April 26, 2026. A total of 25 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Apr. 20, 2026 to Apr. 26, 2026.
BASEBALL (#MACbaseball)
MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Tyler Weil-Kaspar (Alvernia / So., P / Collegeville, Pa.) pitched a 7-inning complete game no-hitter against Gwynedd Mercy on Tuesday. Weil-Kaspar struck out five batters and walked just two batters. He allowed just three base runners in Alvernia's first no-hitter since 2020 and fifth no-hitter in program history.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Alex Neeld (York / Sr., Outfield / Bridgeton, N.J.) batted .571 with eight hits and four RBIs to help the Spartans clinch a postseason tournament berth. His performance was instrumental in securing a key series win over Stevenson.
MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Michael Hooker (DeSales / Sr., P / Ridley Park, Pa.) earned his seventh win of the season by pitching seven strong innings against Lebanon Valley College. He struck out five batters and allowed just one run to help his team clinch the top seed in the MAC Freedom tournament.
MAC Freedom Player of the Week
JT Anderosky (DeSales / Sr., Outfield / Warrington, Pa.) hit .571 and recorded eight stolen bases during a perfect 4-0 week for the Bulldogs. He was particularly dominant in a three-game series against Lebanon Valley, where he went 10-for-15 and scored seven runs.

MAC Golfer of the Week
Ava Johnsen (York / So. / Mount Prospect, Ill.) captured the individual title at the Spartan Women's Spring Invitational with a two-day score of 150 (+6). She highlighted her tournament with a season-low 74 in the first round, which included an eagle and two birdies.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Andrew Collins (Eastern / Sr., Attack / Fogelsville, Pa.) scored six goals and added three assists in his first two starts of the year, including a clutch game-tying goal against Hood. His late-game heroics helped the Eagles extend their season and clinch the No. 4 seed in the postseason tournament.
MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Hudson (York / Fy., Faceoff / Gambrills, Md.) won 26 of 30 faceoffs and collected 20 ground balls to help York capture its fifth-consecutive regular-season title. His week was highlighted by a perfect 13-for-13 performance in the regular-season finale.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Matthew Pergola (Stevens / Sr., Attack / Nutley, N.J.) totaled 10 goals and 12 assists during a 3-0 week that saw the Ducks clinch the No. 1 seed in the MAC Freedom conference tournament. He matched a season-high with seven goals in a win over Kean and added a season-high six assists against DeSales.

AJ Ardizone (DeSales / Jr., Goalie / Bardonia, N.Y.) made 39 total saves across two games, finishing the week with a .609 save percentage. He recorded 15 saves in a win over FDU-Florham before making 24 saves against Stevens.

MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Hayley Lettinga (Messiah / Sr., Midfield / Woodbine, Md.) scored 10 goals over two victories as the Falcons finished regular-season conference play with an undefeated 7-0 record. She netted four goals against Stevenson and followed up with a six-goal performance at Widener.

Hannah Gawne (Messiah / Sr., Midfield / Lancaster, Pa.) anchored the defense with nine draw controls, nine ground balls, and four caused turnovers during a 2-0 week. She also contributed offensively with a goal and two assists in a victory over Stevenson.
MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Alina Friz (Stevens / So., Attack / Gilbertsville, Pa.) erupted for six goals and seven assists to help the Ducks clinch the No. 1 seed in the MAC Freedom tournament. She set a season-high with five assists and two caused turnovers in the clinching victory over DeSales.
MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Chloe Moser (Lebanon Valley / So., Defense / Boyertown, Pa.) recorded 12 draw controls and seven caused turnovers in two games against conference rivals. Her performance against Arcadia, which included six draw controls and five caused turnovers, helped the team clinch a postseason berth.

MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week
Emily Trzonkowski (Eastern / Fy., P / Middletown, Del.) picked up two complete-game wins and surpassed 100 strikeouts for the year. She allowed only eight hits while striking out 20 batters over 14 total innings of work.
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Fallon Feaser (Messiah / Jr., Utility / Newville, Pa.) led the Falcons' offense with a .800 batting average, recording eight hits and 10 RBIs. She highlight her week with a 4-for-4 performance that included six RBIs in a game-two sweep of Alvernia.
MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week
Kyra Fischer (Stevens / Sr., P / Mount Laurel, N.J.) allowed only two earned runs over 13 innings and threw a complete-game two-hit shutout against No. 1 FDU-Florham. This critical victory helped the Ducks clinch their own spot in the MAC Freedom tournament.

Maddy Gronback (Lebanon Valley / Sr., Catcher / Lansdale, Pa.) slashed .600/.563/.867 with nine hits to lead the Dutchmen to a pair of road sweeps. She recorded four multi-hit games during the week, including five hits in a doubleheader against DeSales.

Lance Wilson (Messiah / So. / Akron, Pa.) went a perfect 4-0 at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions to remain undefeated in conference play. His victories came against top-seeded Albright, leading his team to a successful week.

Tristan Wroe (Stevens / Jr. / Westfield, N.J.) went 3-1 on the week and sealed a 4-3 comeback victory over No. 39 TCNJ with a straight-sets win at No. 5 singles. He also added a singles win and a doubles victory in a match against Lebanon Valley.

Kiara Bomboy (Messiah / Jr. / Yorktown, Va.) remained perfect in conference play by going 2-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Eastern and Albright. Her wins against Albright helped the Falcons secure the top seed for the upcoming conference tournament.

Alix Dry (Stevens / Jr. / Austin, Texas) notched a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles to help Stevens clinch the No. 1 seed for the postseason. She also partnered for a 6-0 shutout victory at No. 3 doubles against Lebanon Valley.

MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Victor Cruz (Delaware Valley / Gr. / New Castle, Del.) placed third in a competitive field of 57 athletes in the 200m at the Rick McCorkle Invite. He finished with a time of 21.61, just 0.36 seconds behind the winner from Princeton.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Michael De Falcis (Lebanon Valley / Gr. / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) won the javelin at the Paul Kaiser Classic with a season-best mark of 63.13 meters. His throw ranks 10th in the nation and second in the MAC this spring.

MAC Track Athlete of the Week
Gabby Nye (Widener / Gr. / Shippensburg, Pa.) set a new Widener record in the 3000m steeplechase at the historic Penn Relays with a time of 10:19.58. This performance moved her into the third spot in the national rankings heading into conference championships.
MAC Field Athlete of the Week
Sadie Fenstermaker (DeSales / So. / New Tripoli, Pa.) broke the DeSales school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 47.30m, ranking fifth in the MAC. She also took third in the discus with a mark that stands as the second-best in the conference this season.
