LVC's Grube Earns Second Team All-America Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lebanon Valley sophomore softball second baseman Holly Grube was named a Second Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) with the release of the All-America Team by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Grube earns the program's fifth-ever All-American honor and the first since Sammy Bost and Sam Derr earned Second Team honors in 2014. The sophomore ranks among the nation's best in hits, doubles, total bases, and batting average this season. She broke program records with 74 hits and 19 doubles, which are ranked 10th and 16th in Division III this spring. Her .471 batting average is 45th in the nation, while her 114 total bases are 21st. In the field, she was a solid defender with 69 putouts and 47 assists on 119 chances for a .975 fielding percentage.
 
The 2026 MAC Freedom Player of the Year had another excellent season, leading the Dutchmen to a program-record fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament Appearance after winning the program's third straight MAC Freedom title. She had 23 multi-hit games, including going a career-best 5-for-5 with two doubles, four runs, and two runs batted in during the 11-4 victory over top-seeded Misericordia University in the MAC Freedom Tournament to advance to the Championship Game. Grube had 10 multi-RBI games, including knocking in a season-high four runs on a double and a home run in a 13-4 victory at MAC Commonwealth Champion, Messiah University. The second baseman had a season-long hitting streak of 14 games and reached base in the last 29 games of the season.
