MINNEAPOLIS (Football) - Alvernia University sophomore Zakai Smullen and Delaware Valley University senior Wyatt Younes were each named to D3football.com's Team of the Week, sponsored by Scoutware, on Tuesday for game action from Sept. 18-19. 

Smullen set Alvernia's record in both receiving yards (205) and receiving touchdowns (three) in a game. He had eight receptions, including a one-handed catch on the game-winning pass to secure Alvernia's first win over King's in program history.

Younes returned the second-half kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown vs. Albright. The score gave Delaware Valley a 21-7 lead before a single snap in the second half, and the Aggies were able to hold on to win, 24-21.

The Team of the Week is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 28th season, recognizes top performers at each position from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors.
