ANNVILLE, Pa. (Women’s Soccer) – The 2014 All-Freedom Conference Women’s Soccer Team has been announced. Misericordia’s Megan Mahoney was named Freedom Offensive Player of the Year, while teammate Erin Roberts was tabbed Freedom Defensive Player of the Year. Eastern’s Alondra Cervantes was selected Freedom Rookie of the Year. Misericordia’s Mark Stauffer was named Freedom Coach of the Year.

Joining Mahoney (forward) and Roberts (midfield) on the All-Freedom First Team were: forwards Meghan Antrim (Misericordia), Nikki Dunlap (Delaware Valley) and Brady Walsh (DeSales); midfielders Erin McGreal (Misericordia) and Jess Wetherhold (DeSales); defenders Rachel Logue (DeSales), Kirsten Smith (Wilkes) and Kylen Smith (Misericordia), and goalkeeper Maureen Cicosanti (Misericordia).

Cervantes was named to the All-Freedom Second Team as a midfielder. Joining her were: forwards Alexandra Garrett (King’s), Amber Hartranft (Misericordia), Ivy Nulton (King’s) and Micaela Oliverio (Wilkes); midfielders Brittni Calleo (Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham) and Mary Taylor (Delaware Valley); defenders Alexa Alchevsky (Misericordia), Lindsey Humanik (King’s), Kristen Ritter (Misericordia) and Devin Somposon (Misericordia); and goalkeepers Michelle Churchman (DeSales), Dolores Diemicke (Manhattanville) and Jessica Natale (King’s).

Five players were named All-Freedom Honorable Mention, including Emily Cole (Eastern), Nicole Fanfarillo (Delaware Valley), Erin Laird (King’s), Shayna Schaeffer (Delaware Valley) and Esther Younger (DeSales).
