ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) is proud to announce part four of the #MACunited series, Thrifty Student-Athletes: Financial Skills to Master. Part four of the #MACunited will aim to help student-athletes learn valuable financial skills including budgeting and an introduction to financial planning.

The MAC will host Michael Brady from LPL Financial who will help promote various aspects of financial literacy that will be beneficial to student-athletes who are currently in school along with providing skills that can be used during the transition into life after education. Brady will educate student-athletes and leave them with a list of ten items to consider when learning to be fiscally responsible.

Michael Brady will speak on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. EST. Conact your athletic department or SAAC representatives for registration information.

Financial literacy may seem like a "no brainer" topic but is often glanced over in many curriculums. From budgeting and investing, to buying versus leasing, student-athletes will have the opportunity to expand their current knowledge of finances and learn skills that will last a lifetime. These skills will help every student-athlete regardless of their major or profession.
