ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) is proud to announce part five of the #MACunited series, Exercise and Eating During a Pandemic: Staying Healthy in a COVID World. Part five of the #MACunited series will help educate student-athletes about how to stay healthy at home during the new normal during the current pandemic.
The MAC will host Brian Bingaman, Associate Athletic Director for Performance, Health, and Wellness at Eastern University and John Rickards, Registered Dietician and owner of Your Wellness Consultants. Bingaman will educate student-athletes about staying active when at home during the pandemic by giving various tips and tricks for exercise. Rickards will give student-athletes tips on eating healthy during the holidays and how to complement their exercise regime with proper nutrition.
Bingaman and Rickards will speak on Monday, November 23 at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Many MAC campuses will finish the semester virtually, student-athletes will be at home for an extended period of time. With many preparing for winter and spring seasons, this session will give tips for staying healthy and being ready for their sport during the pandemic.

The MAC currently sponsors 27 intercollegiate sports that compete in the NCAA Division III.
