ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) is proud to announce part six of the #MACunited series, Dear Real World, We're Ready: Life After Athletics. Part six of the #MACunited series will provide a panel discussion to help student-athletes with the transition from being a student-athlete to working and living outside of college and athletics.
With student-athletes focused on completing coursework and preparing to compete at high levels on the court or field, oftentimes the transition after college can be forgotten. This session will help give student-athletes various tips and information about what the transition could look like. Topics covered will include preparing for the transition during college, the transition period, and what life after being a student-athlete is like.
The #MACunited session Dear Real World, We're Ready: Life After Athletics panel will include:
- Megan Haughey, Associate Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator, Head Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology
- Megan Tustin, Coordinator of Facilities and Athletic Events at Arcadia University
- Liam Dole, Graduate Assistant – Athletic Communications at Messiah University
The panel will be held on Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST.

With the panel conversation focusing on various aspects of the transition timeframe, it will can be beneficial to all student-athletes, regardless of profession or class. Registrants are open to submit questions ahead of time to be included in the panel discussion or during the open Q&A at the end of the panel.
