The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has received official notice that both Lycoming College and Wilkes University will be accepting invitations to join the Landmark Conference beginning July 1, 2023.

“Although we are all disappointed to see these institutions leave the conference, the MAC will continue to be a vibrant and competitive conference,” commented Andrea Chapdelaine, President of Hood College and Chair of the MAC Presidents. “In 2023-24, with 16 member institutions, the MAC will remain one of the largest NCAA Division III conferences, sponsoring 27 intercollegiate sports and offering 40 championship events to more than 7,000 student-athletes. The MAC was established in 1912 and has been competing in the NCAA Division III since the Division was formed in 1973. The MAC has captured 159 NCAA Division III national titles.”
