NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference is thrilled to announce a special partnership with Susan G. Komen to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Breast Cancer. Go Pink for the Cure is a fundraising program for Susan G. Komen that encourages healthy living and breast cancer awareness.
As runners compete for glory at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Cross Country Championships on November 2, we invite spectators and participants to join us in making a difference. Stop by the merchandise table to pick up pink goodies to show your support!
"This initiative unites sport with a powerful commitment to breast cancer awareness and research," Said Megan Morrison, MAC Executive Director. "Together we aim to inspire our communities to take action, support those affected by breast cancer, and promote a healthier future for all."
Event Highlights:
- Fundraising Initiatives: Donations will be collected throughout the month of October and at the championships on our "Go Pink For the Cure" Donation site!
- Awareness: At the merchandise table, you can find QR codes that will direct you to numerous educational web pages by Susan G. Komen.
- Merchandise: Purchase your co-branded MAC and Susan G. Komen gear! There will be a limited number of short and long sleeve shirts available.
