COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Field Hockey) – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2025 NFHCA Division III All-America Teams on Tuesday. The MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom combined for four honorees.
First Team
Shae Bennett, Stevenson (Midfield)
Lauren Flynn, Stevens (Defense)
Second Team
Gabi Moroney, Stevens (Forward)
Lillian Peters, Messiah (Defense)
Bennett capped her junior season with nine goals and three assists for 21 points and had four game-winning goals. Bennett earned First Team All-MAC Commonwealth as a midfielder. She helped Stevenson capture its first MAC Commonwealth Championship Title in program history after defeating Messiah 1-0. The Mustangs went 6-1 in conference play and 19-3 overall. Bennett was also named NFHCA All-Region V.
Flynn was named MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year and captured First-Team honors. She was also named NFHCA All-Region IV and was tabbed NFHCA Region IV Player of the Year. Flynn finished the season with eight goals and 12 assists for 28 points. She tallied three game-winners and four defensive saves. She helped her team go undefeated in conference play and 18-3 overall. The Ducks claimed its third straight MAC Freedom title.
Teammate Moroney finished the season with 17 goals and four assists for 38 points including four game-winning goals. She collected All-MAC Freedom First Team honors for the second of her career. She collected NFHCA All-Region IV and was named to the NFHCA Division III Senior Team. She finished her collegiate career with 102 points, just the fifth player in program history to hit the 100-mark.
In 2025, Peters was named MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring the Messiah defensive line, allowing just 22 goals across the season. She also collected All-MAC Commonwealth First Team honors for the second-straight season. Peters was added to the NFHCA All-Region V team and selected to the NFHCA Division III Senior Team. Peters ended her collegiate career with two MAC Commonwealth Championship Titles.
The NFHCA Division III National Player of the Year will be announced on December 18.
