MAC Weekly Awards Announcement (September 30, 2025)

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending September 28, 2025. A total of 26 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Sep. 22, 2025 to Sep. 28, 2025.

CROSS COUNTRY (#MACxc)
MAC Men’s Runner of the Week
Rory Lieberman (Lebanon Valley / Jr. / Danville, Pa.)  broke the Lebanon Valley 8K program record with a time of 24:19.2 to place third at the Lock Haven Invitational. The junior beat the previous mark of 24:40 set in 1994 and finished just seven seconds off the overall winner in a 204-runner field. LVC also posted its best-ever team average (25:14) to finish as the top Division III squad.

MAC Women’s Runner of the Week
Coyla Bartholomew (Lebanon Valley / Sr. / Danville, Pa.) placed 10th overall with a 6K time of 22:03.1, just one second off her career best, at the Lock Haven Invitational. She finished as the top Division III runner in a field of 179, leading LVC to seventh place overall and the top Division III team finish.

FIELD HOCKEY (#MACfh)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Gracyn Catalano (Stevenson / Jr., F / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) scored in both games of the week, notching goals against St. Mary’s (Md.) and Mary Washington for a four-point performance.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Jordan Vradenburgh (Stevenson / Jr., GK / Fairless Hills, Pa.) backstopped two Stevenson wins, recording a shutout with one save against St. Mary’s (Md.) before adding five stops in a 4-1 victory over Mary Washington.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Jillian Tait (Lebanon Valley / So., F / Tafton, Pa.) scored both goals in LVC’s 3-2 shootout victory over No. 17 TCNJ, delivering a career-best performance that secured the program’s signature upset. She scored in the 27th and 39th minutes, converting both of her shot attempts.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Lauren Flynn (Stevens / Jr., D / Hillsborough, N.J.) contributed at both ends of the field for No. 10 Stevens. She scored the game-winner in a 2-0 shutout of Washington & Lee, then tallied the Ducks’ lone goal while adding a defensive save in a narrow 2-1 loss to No. 2 Christopher Newport.

FOOTBALL (#MACfb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Brett Nabb (Eastern / Gr., QB / Avalon, N.J.) totaled 421 yards of offense and four touchdowns in Eastern’s 39-37 road win at King’s. He threw for 257 yards and two long touchdowns (75 and 38 yards) while rushing for 164 yards and two more scores, as the Eagles set a program record with 600 total yards.

MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Carter Foust (Lebanon Valley / Sr., S / Shippensburg, Pa.) forced three turnovers in a 21-18 upset win at Delaware Valley, LVC’s first victory over the Aggies since 2013. He recorded two interceptions, including a 31-yard return to set up the decisive touchdown, and added a forced fumble, eight tackles, and a pass breakup.

MAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Micah Veilleux (Stevenson / Fy., K / Annapolis, Md.) went 7-for-8 on PATs in a win over FDU-Florham, one shy of the program record. He also averaged 61.0 yards on nine kickoffs.

MEN'S GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Commonwealth Golfer of the Week
Jacob Fripp (York / Sr. / Rincon, Georgia) tied for fifth at the Northeast Elite Tournament, shooting 143 over two rounds to lead York to fourth place as a team. He opened with a 75 (+4) before firing a three-under 69 on day two, carding six birdies across his final round. The senior has two top-10 finishes this fall.

MAC Freedom Golfer of the Week
Matthew Smith (DeSales / Fy. / Hammonton, N.J.) claimed medalist honors at the Makuvek Cup after posting an even-par 72 and winning on the sixth playoff hole. He also recorded a 79 to place 25th at the Northampton Cup earlier in the week.

WOMEN’S GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Golfer of the Week
Alexis Marsh (Stevenson / So. / Erie, Pa.)  tied for ninth at the Catholic Fall Classic with a two-round score of +11. The sophomore has finished inside the top 10 in each of her three tournaments this season.

MEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Gianfranco Vitella (Stevenson / Sr., M / Roseland, N.J.) tallied a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Delaware Valley after creating steady offensive pressure in a 1-1 draw at No. 8 Dickinson. The senior now ranks second in the conference in goals (5) and first in points (14).

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Nolen Olson-Warwick (Stevenson / Sr., GK / Westampton, N.J.) posted 11 saves across two conference matches, including six in a draw at No. 8 Dickinson and five in a 2-1 win over Delaware Valley. He finished the week with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .786 save percentage.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Nathan Prex (Lebanon Valley / Sr., F / Cranberry Township, Pa.) scored all four of LVC’s goals in a 2-0 week. He recorded a second-half hat trick, including the game-winner, in a 3-1 victory at Penn State Harrisburg before adding the lone tally in a 1-0 win at Alvernia. The senior has scored in seven straight matches.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Victor Ciach (FDU-Florham / So., GK / Ringwood, N.J.) allowed just one goal in two matches, making four saves in a 1-1 draw with Muhlenberg before posting a shutout with two saves in a 4-0 win over Centenary.

WOMEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Tayler Flaherty (Alvernia / So., F / Ocean View, DE) scored twice in a 1-0-1 week for Alvernia. She netted the game-winner from 25 yards out in a 1-0 win over Kean, then scored again in a 1-1 draw with John Jay.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Rossino (Alvernia / Jr., GK / Laurel Springs, N.J.) collected 13 saves across two matches. She made nine stops in a 1-0 shutout of Kean before adding four more in a 1-1 draw at John Jay, conceding only on a penalty kick.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Lasky (Lebanon Valley / Sr., M / Reading, Pa.)  recorded LVC’s first hat trick since 2017, scoring three times in a 6-0 win over Neumann. She tallied in the 14th, 30th, and 52nd minutes before closing the week in a 1-1 draw at Widener.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Nicole Ocejo (Delaware Valley / Sr., GK / Gloucester County, N.J.) made six second-half saves to secure DelVal’s third straight win, a 2-1 victory over Rutgers-Camden.

MEN’S TENNIS (#MACtennis)
MAC Freedom Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Zach Schrader (Lebanon Valley / So. / Reading, Pa.) went 5-1 across singles and doubles play in a 2-1 week for LVC. His highlight was a straight-sets win over Division II Millersville’s top player (6-1, 6-4), marking one of the biggest victories of his young career.

WOMEN’S TENNIS (#MACtennis)
MAC Freedom Women’s Tennis Player of the Week 
Erin Cridge (Misericordia / Sr. / Salem, Oregon) went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 1 doubles in a 2-0 week for Misericordia. She earned a three-set win over Lycoming, then added another three-set singles victory in a 4-3 win against Oneonta.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL (#MACvb)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Cynthia Boller (Messiah / Jr., OH / Rifton, N.Y.) totaled 43 kills in three matches, including 17 in a win over York and 13 each against LVC and Salisbury. She added seven digs to help the Falcons to a 2-1 week.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Claire Marzolino (Messiah / Fy., Libero / Byron Center, Michigan) collected 35 digs and four aces in three matches, reaching double-digit digs in all three, including a team-high 13 against York.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Allison Reimer (DeSales / So., OH / Schnecksville, Pa.) tallied 37 kills, 40 digs, and nine aces in three matches. She posted back-to-back double-doubles with 10 kills and 18 digs against Drew and 18 kills and 11 digs against Montclair State.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Kylie Nagle (Lebanon Valley / So., Libero / Orefield, Pa.) notched a season-high 29 digs in a 3-1 win at FDU-Florham, part of a 50-dig week. She added 14 digs against Messiah and seven more against Salisbury.
