NEWTOWN, Pa. (Men’s Tennis) – The Albright Lions were selected as the favorite in the 2026 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth men’s tennis coaches. The Lions collected four first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 24 points. Messiah collected two first-place votes.

In 2025, York defeated top-seeded Messiah 4-2 to claim its first-ever MAC Commonwealth title in program history. The Spartans fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to No. 35 North Carolina Wesleyan.
The 2026 season is set to begin on Saturday, February 28. Conference play will start on Saturday, March 28 with a five game schedule.
The 2026 MAC Commonwealth Men's Tennis Championship is set for April 29 and May 2. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
