Lebanon Valley Leads at 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Championships after Day Two

Grantham, Pa. (Outdoor Track & Field) – The second day of the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships was completed on Friday at Messiah University. Lebanon Valley currently leads both men's and women's with Widener (men's) and DeSales (women's) sitting in second place. 

STEEPLECHASE
Ryle Mellinger of Eastern captured the men's 3000m steeplechase title with a time of 9:32.57. Lebanon Valley teammates Wyatt Leitzel (9:36.59) and Donald Miller (9:43.17) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

On the women's side, Coyla Bartholomew of Lebanon Valley claimed gold in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:17.48. Kaitlyn Adams of Stevens placed second (11:33.63), and Messiah’s Emmie Battersby earned third with a time of 11:49.17.

HIGH JUMP
On the women's side, Trinity Batista of York won gold with a mark of 1.66m. FDU-Florham's Meghan Kreinberg placed second (1.63m) and Stevens Maggie Previglian took third (1.63m). 

On the men's side, Widener's Matayo McGraw captured gold with a 1.99m mark. William Ladd of Stevens took silver with a 1.96m mark and Anthony Collier of FDU-Florham won bronze. 


LONG JUMP
Brooke Signorella of DeSales claimed first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.64m. Lebanon Valley’s Mileyshka Calderon placed second (5.38m), and Tirzah Simmons of Widener took third with a 5.29m mark.

Widener's Matayo McGraw took gold in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.96m. Elijah McCullough of Eastern finished second (6.86m), and Jacob Grossman of Widener rounded out the top three (6.82m).

DISCUS
Luke Bosma of Messiah claimed first place in the discus with a mark of 48.03m. Lebanon Valley's Aonghas Evanick placed second (45.77m) and Javius Dent of Delaware Valley finished third (43.84m). 

Brandy Varner of King's captured the gold on the women's side with a mark of 43.61m. DeSales' Sadie Fenstermaker took home silver with a 37.85m mark. Eastern's Savana Dodd won bronze with 36.63m mark. 

HEPTATHLON (Final Standings)
Anna Sawicki of Lebanon Valley won the women’s heptathlon with 4,636 points, capped by a first-place finish in the 800m (2:31.19). Meghan Kreinberg of FDU-Florham secured silver with 4,396 points, followed by Eastern’s Janitza Hernandez-Albino in third with 4,030 points.

DECATHLON (Final Standings)
Brandon Kiefer of Stevens claimed the decathlon title with 6,212 points. Jed Colyer of host Messiah finished second with 5,520 points, and Matthew Martin of York took third with 5,439 points.
