GREENWOOD, Ind. –
Lebanon Valley standout track & field student-athlete Michael De Falcis was named to 2025-26 Academic All-America® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Team as selected by College Sports Communicators as a First Team selection as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

The thrower earned First Team All-America honors in the javelin at the National Outdoor Track & Field Championships in May with a third-place finish recording a career-best throw of 70.16m (230'2"). His mark moved him up to No. 11 in NCAA Division III history. He earned Mid-Atlantic Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year honors as well as winning his third MAC title in the javelin with a throw of 66.15 meters (217'0"). His throw at the conference meet qualified him for the National Championships and was the sixth-best throw in the nation during the qualifying season.

De Falcis becomes the 36th overall Academic All-America honoree at LVC and the 11th first team selection. He is the first member of the men's track and field program to earn the honor since 2004 when Jeremy Rea was a third team selection. This is the third consecutive year the Dutchmen had a student-athlete earn Academic All-America First Team honors.
