AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025 Academic All-America® Baseball teams on Tuesday with Lebanon Valley senior Jace Fetterman earning a spot on the Third Team.
Fetterman, a Business Administration major from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, became the second Dutchmen Baseball student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors. The catcher is an excellent student with a 3.85 cumulative GPA at the time of his nomination. Earlier this spring he was named the MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete. He is a three-year Academic All-District honoree and has been named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll all four years.
On the field, Fetterman was selected as the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and earned All-Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com. Fetterman finished the season 25th in the nation with 18 doubles and tied for 22nd with a .538 on-base percentage. The catcher batted a career-high .408 with 62 hits including eight home runs to become the program's all-time home run leader.
Fetterman becomes the 35th overall Academic All-America honoree at LVC and the 15th third team selection. He is the first member of the Baseball program to earn the honor since 2017 when Zac Edwards earned first team honors. He is LVC's second Academic All-American this year after Evan Kutzler became the first Football Academic All-American in program history. This is the first year LVC has earned multiple honors since 2017 when the Dutchmen had four.
