AUSTIN, Texas – Over the past week, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their Academic All-American teams for baseball and at-large selections. The Falcons earned two selections to the Division III teams with
Evan Wagaman earning a selection to the First Team CSC Baseball Academic All-American team and
Emma Hagg earning a Third Team At-Large Selection.
Evan Wagaman was named to the CSC Academic All-American First Team after leading the Falcons on the field and in the classroom during the 2025 season. Wagaman finished the 2025 year with a cumulative 3.78 GPA while studying applied health science. The unanymous All-Region selection helped lead the Falcons to a National Runner-Up finish . The MAC Commonwealth Player the Year, Wagaman finished the season batting .355 with 13 home runs and 61 RBIs. Wagaman also added 13 doubles, six triples, and 60 runs scored on the season. Wagaman also provided speed on the base paths with 31 stolen bases on the season. Wagaman has set the single season record with 13 home runs and 61 RBIs. Wagaman has rewrote the career record book as well, holding the career records in home runs (32), RBIs (168), total bases (386), hits (215), doubles (47), runs scored (169), plate appearances (755), and walks (112).
Emma Hagg earned a third-team CSC Academic All-American Third Team Selection after a great year on the field and in the classroom. Even with her dominance on the field, Hagg earned a 3.97 cumulative GPA in undergrad while majoring in business administration. The IWLCA Second Team All-American, Hagg started all 20 games for Messiah this season and led the Falcons in caused turnovers with 59, ground balls with 72, and was second in draw controls with 79. Hagg's 59 caused turnovers broke the single season record for most caused turnovers. Hagg also broke the program career records in games played (77), games started (77) and caused turnovers (152). Hagg also earned on a spot on the IWLCA Senior All-Star team.
