MAC Weekly Awards Announcement (September 9, 2025)

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending September 7, 2025. A total of 26 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Sep. 1, 2025 to Sep. 7, 2025.

CROSS COUNTRY (#MACxc)
MAC Men’s Runner of the Week
Joe Chukoskie (Lebanon Valley / Sr. / Kempton, Pa.) paced the Dutchmen with a ninth-place finish in a field of 167 at the Dutchmen Invitational. He clocked 26:35 on the 8K course, ranking as the fifth-fastest Division III runner, and helped LVC to a runner-up team finish behind Division I Navy.

MAC Women’s Runner of the Week
Kyrianna Nemitz (Lebanon Valley / Jr. / Sinking Spring, Pa.) turned in a standout debut for LVC, placing third overall out of 186 runners at the Dutchmen Invitational. The junior ran a career-best 18:19.2 in the 5K, slicing 50 seconds off her previous best and finishing as the top Division III runner to lead the Dutchmen to second place as a team.

FIELD HOCKEY (#MACfh)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Karlee Howard (Eastern / Jr., F / Oley, Pa.) tallied three goals and an assist to lead Eastern to a pair of home victories. She scored once and assisted in a 4-1 win over Immaculata, then added two more goals, including a highlight-reel reverse stick strike, in a 5-2 win over Arcadia — Eastern’s first win over the Knights since 2017.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Grace Guy (Hood / Sr., GK / Mechanicsburg, Md.) recorded a career-high 16 saves in an overtime battle with McDaniel, turning aside multiple late attempts in regulation to keep Hood within reach. Her performance marked the program’s most saves in a game since 2022.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Brynne Miller (Delaware Valley / Sr., M / Blue Bell, Pa.) netted two goals, including the game-winner, to lead Delaware Valley to a 3-0 shutout of Gwynedd Mercy in the Aggies’ season opener. She finished with a team-high six shots in the victory.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Adrianna Goodwin (FDU-Florham / Jr., GK / Toms River, N.J.) piled up 29 saves across two matches, highlighted by a 25-save performance that set a new program single-game record against Stockton. She also posted a shutout with four saves in a 3-0 win over William Paterson.

FOOTBALL (#MACfb)
MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jeremiah Avrilien (Eastern / Jr., RB / Miami Gardens, Fla.) rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries in Eastern’s 46-7 win over Anna Maria. The junior averaged 14.1 yards per carry and scored on runs of 5, 11, and 40 yards to record his fourth career 100-yard game.

MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Alexander Cintron (Widener / Jr., DB / Maple Shade, N.J.) sparked Widener’s defense in a season-opening win, recording a forced fumble, a recovery, and a 31-yard interception return for a touchdown. He added three tackles, a pass breakup, and played a role in forcing four total turnovers.

MAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Micah Veilleux (Stevenson / Fy., K / Annapolis, Md.) delivered in his collegiate debut, going 2-for-2 on field goals, including a school-record 49-yarder, while averaging 33.1 yards per punt. He also recovered a muffed kickoff to set up a Stevenson possession in opponent territory.

MEN'S GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Commonwealth Golfer of the Week
Jacob Fripp (York / Sr. / Rincon, Ga.) opened the season with a top-10 finish at the 21-team Dickinson Invitational, tying for eighth in a field of 109 golfers. The senior carded a one-over 73 in the first round before firing a three-under 69 in round two, highlighted by three birdies over his final four holes. His two-day total of 142 was just six shots off the individual winner and helped York place fourth overall.

MAC Freedom Golfer of the Week
Matteo Patitucci (Arcadia / So. / Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) tied for 17th at the George Cangero Invitational, carding a 75 (+3) at the par-72 Eisenhower Park White Course. The sophomore opened with a 40 on the front nine that included two birdies, then surged on the back nine with a 35 (-1) and three more birdies. He led Arcadia as the Knights placed 10th overall in the team standings.

WOMEN’S GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Golfer of the Week
Sydni Sundstrom (Stevenson / Jr. / Fogelsville, Pa.) made a strong debut for Stevenson, winning the McDaniel Fall Invitational with a nine-over 81 at The Bridges Golf Club. Her performance led the Mustangs to a one-stroke team victory over Gettysburg, securing the season-opening title with a score of 345 (+57).

MEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Ellis Amo (Stevenson / Jr., F / Lothian, Md.) factored into five goals across two wins for Stevenson, totaling three goals and two assists. He scored twice and assisted once in a 4-0 win over Goucher, then added a goal and an assist in a 9-0 victory over Gallaudet as the Mustangs outscored their opponents 13-0 on the week.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Landon Eaton (Stevenson / Jr., D / Williamstown, N.J.) anchored Stevenson’s defense in back-to-back shutouts while also contributing offensively with the game-winning goal in the home opener against Goucher. The junior logged 104 minutes across the two matches, sparking the Mustangs on both ends of the field.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Scott Jordan (Arcadia / Fy., F / Allentown, N.J.) tallied two goals and an assist in a 1-0-1 week for Arcadia. He posted a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Cairn and then scored the Knights’ lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Wilkes.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week
Ethan Bazydola (Lebanon Valley / Sr., GK / Langhorne, Pa.) totaled 13 saves in two matches, including a career-high 11 in a 2-2 draw with York (Pa.). The senior also made two stops in a narrow 2-1 loss to Muhlenberg.

WOMEN’S SOCCER (#MACsoc)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Meg Kalthof (York / Jr., F / Bel Air, Md.) scored in both of York’s victories to lead the Spartans to a 3-1 record. She netted the game-winner in the 80th minute against Gettysburg and added an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over McDaniel.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Isabella Serano (Stevenson / Fy., GK / Washington Township, Pa.) posted 24 saves across two matches for the Mustangs. She recorded 16 stops and assisted on Stevenson’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw with Shenandoah, then added eight saves in a narrow 1-0 loss to Washington College (Md.).

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Lasky (Lebanon Valley / Sr., F / Reading, Pa.) scored twice to lead LVC to a 2-0 week. She tallied both goals in a 2-0 win at Elizabethtown, including the game-winner in the eighth minute, and also contributed in a 1-0 victory at Alvernia.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Camryn Porter (Lebanon Valley / So., GK / Dillsburg, Pa.) made nine saves across two road shutouts, extending LVC’s perfect start to 3-0. She stopped four shots in a 1-0 win at Alvernia and a season-high five in a 2-0 victory at Elizabethtown.

MEN’S TENNIS (#MACtennis)
MAC Freedom Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Max-William Kanz (Stevens / Sr. / Wethersfield, Conn.) went 2-2 in doubles play at the TCNJ Invitational, teaming with two different partners to secure victories of 8-5 and 8-4.

WOMEN’S TENNIS (#MACtennis)
MAC Freedom Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Erika Badner (Lebanon Valley / So. / Greentown, Pa.) went 6-0 at the King’s Invitational, capturing both the No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles titles. She won three singles matches, including a 10-8 super tiebreak in the semifinals, and teamed with Nikki Dendowski to sweep three doubles matches for the championship.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL (#MACvb)
MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Hannah Pringle (Eastern / Sr., OH / East Greenville, Pa.) totaled 48 kills while hitting .328 in three straight-set victories for Eastern. She averaged 5.3 kills per set, moving into 11th on the program’s career kills list, and recorded 18 kills in a 3-0 win over Catholic.

MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week
Viviana Fragoso (Eastern / Sr., Libero / La Mirada, C.A.) averaged 4.4 digs per set to anchor Eastern’s defense in a 3-0 week. She tallied 16 digs in a sweep of Catholic and added three service aces while finishing perfect in serve receive.

MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week
Meghan Peters (Misericordia / Sr., OH / Boothwyn, Pa.) hit .365 with 43 kills over three wins for Misericordia. She had 21 kills in a 3-1 victory at Messiah and added 17 kills in a five-set win over Stockton.

MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week 
Morgan Williams (King’s / Sr., Libero / Colonia, N.J.) collected 80 digs (6.7 per set) with 12 assists and five aces in three matches. She tallied 30 digs in a five-set win over Ramapo and moved into fourth place on King’s all-time digs list.
