Messiah Leads the MAC in the Division III Winter LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND (Conference News) – The Division III LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup winter standings were released on Wednesday morning. A total of 13 institutions from the Middle Atlantic Conferences are ranked with four placing in the top-100. 

Messiah leads all MAC institutions, sitting in 40th place with a total of 271.0 points. The Falcons, the highest ranked MAC Commonwealth institution, earned 50 points in women's basketball and 52 points in men's wrestling this winter. 

Stevens is currently placed in 52nd with 207.0 points. The Ducks, the highest ranked MAC Freedom institution, collecting 25 points in men's basketball and 57 points in men's wrestling this winter. 

Eastern earned 97 points this winter and currently sits in 77th place with 161.50 points. The Eagles collected 40.5 points in men's wrestling and 57 points in women's wrestling.

York earned a conference-high 131.0 points this winter and is slotted in 95th place. The Spartans collected 39 points in women's swimming, 45 points in women's wrestling and 47 points in men's wrestling. 

Lebanon Valley ranks 105th with 108.50 points, Hood ranks 153rd with 64 points, Misericordia ranks 161st with 57.50 points, Stevenson is 168th with 50 points, DeSales is slotted 194th with 49 points, Albright ranked 207th with 36 points, Arcadia is 209th with 32.50 points, Alvernia ranks 217th with 29 points and King's rounds out the ranked MAC institutions as they sit in 268th with 18 points. 

In Division III, New York University sits in first place with a total of 812.25 total points.
