LEXINGTON, Ky. – On Wednesday, April 22, the American Volleyball Coaches Association held the 2026 NCAA Men's Volleyball Social prior to the final weekend of play beginning. The 2026 All-Americans were honored and Alex Kagoro was named the 2026 AVCA Division III National Player of the Year.
Alex Kagoro becomes the second player in program history to be named AVCA Player of the Year. His average of 4.79 kills per set led Division III this season and his 5.36 points per set ranked third. Kagoro tallied double-digit kills in 21 of the Falcons' 32 matches this season, including a career-high 27 in a four-set win over Randolph-Macon on Feb. 28.
Kagoro earned AVCA First-Team All-America honors for the second season in a row after being named the AVCA Region III Player of the Year.
