ANNVILLE, Pa. (Tennis) – The Stevenson Mustangs were selected as the favorite in the 2022 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) men’s tennis coaches. The Mustangs collected six first-place votes from opposing coaches for a total of 48 points.

In 2022, the Stevenson Mustangs defeated the Messiah Falcons 5-3 earning their second straight MAC Commonwealth championship title. Junior Ben Porto was named MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year.
The Stevenson Mustangs advanced to the NCAA tournament second round with a first round bye. Stevenson fell to Babson 5-0 ending their 2021 season. The Mustangs ended with an 8-3 record overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference play.
The 2022 season is set to begin on Saturday, March 5. Conference play will begin on Saturday, Apr. 2 with a seven-match five-week schedule.
The 2022 MAC Commonwealth Men’s Tennis Championship is set for May 4, 7. The top-four seeds will battle for the conference title and the NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifier (AQ).
