NEW ORLEANS - Following sending Kayla Robinson to NCAA Indoor Championships, Widener Women's Track and Field Assistant Coach Gavin Colley was named USTFCCCA Metro Region Assistant Coach of the Year on Friday (Mar. 21).

Colley joined the Pride for his second season in 2024-25 and would help lead Robinson to a fourth place finish and new Widener school record in the pentathlon at NCAA Indoor Championships. In the nation, he leads the Pride to a #8 60-meter Team in all of Division III. Colley has accumulated a handful of all-region and conference individual champions in his time with the Pride. For his success at MAC Championships in February, Colley was named the 2025 MAC Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year.
