ANNVILLE, Pa. (Conference News) – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for golf and tennis for the week ending Sept. 27, 2021. A total of seven student-athletes were recognized for performances from Sept. 21-27, 2021.
GOLF (#MACgolf)
MAC Commonwealth Men’s Golfer of the Week
Riley Rohlfs (York / Jr. / Westford, Mass.) helped lead the York to an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Preview tournament in Florida. Rohlfs was York's top tournament performer as he tied for 19th as he was two-over-par for the tournament. Rohlfs fired a one-over-par 73 on Tuesday to finish with a three-day score of 218. Rohlfs was extremely consistent with scores of 72, 73, and 73. He was four strokes out of a top five finish.
MAC Freedom Men’s Golfer of the Week
Miles Philion (Stevens / Jr. / Delhi, N.Y.) led the Ducks to a second-place team finish at the Golden Oaks Shootout out hosted by Arcadia. Philion tied for fourth place with teammates Eddite Sot and Michael Vickers with two-day scores of 148. Philion was consistent over the two-day event shooting a 75 and 73.
MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week
McKylie Boreman (Alvernia / So. / New Cumberland, Pa.) took home low medalist honors in the two-day Arcadia Invitational at Golden Oaks on Friday and Saturday. Boreman went 76-75 for a two-day total of 151. In her final five holes of day two, Boreman birdied 14, made two sand-save pars on 15 and 16, then closed out with back-to-back birdies and 17 & 18 to go minus-3 in the final five holes. Boreman also finished second at Ursinus earlier in the week with a round of 77 to lead Alvernia to a first-place finish.

MAC Commonwealth Men’s Player of the Week
Adam Warren (Lebanon Valley / Fy. / Mechanicsburg, Pa.) went 3-1 for Lebanon Valley in a pair of victories for the Dutchmen. Against Penn State Harrisburg, Warren won No. 4 singles 6-3, 6-1 to help LVC take down the Lions 6-3. Then, against Susquehanna, Warren teamed up with Justin Schuetz to win 8-3 in No. 1 singles before sweeping his No. 4 singles match 6-3, 6-4 in LVC's 6-3 win over the River Hawks.
MAC Freedom Men’s Player of the Week
Augie Citrone (DeSales / So. / York, Pa.) helped DeSales post a win over Alvernia earning a win in both No. 1 doubles and singles. He teamed with Thomas Blomquist to win 8-5 in doubles and earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at the No. 1 singles position.
MAC Commonwealth Women’s Player of the Week
Jacquelyn McBride (Lebanon Valley / So. / Lancaster, Pa.) went a perfect 4-0 on the week in a pair of wins for LVC. McBride won 8-4 at top doubles and 6-4, 6-2 at top singles against PSU Harrisburg. Against Susquehanna, McBride won 8-7 (8-6) at No. 1 doubles and then picked up a 6-2, 0-6, 10-6 win at No. 1 singles.
MAC Freedom Women’s Player of the Week
Lydia Barbour (Misericordia / Fy. / Williamsport, Pa.) won the No. 3 singles and doubles flights at the King’s Invitational. She teamed with Cassie Benderavich to win doubles over Scranton (8-3 in semifinals) and King’s (8-2 in finals). In singles, Barbour won 6-3, 6-1 over Arcadia (quarterfinals), 7-6, 6-3 over Scranton (semifinals) and 6-1, 6-0 over Manhattanville in the finals.
