USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS (Cross Country) – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the NCAA Division III Preseason Poll on Wednesday with Messiah ranked No. 34.
 
Messiah was selected fourth in the Mideast Region, sliding behind No. 5 Haverford (first in region), No. 12 Carnegie Mellon (second), No. 14 Johns Hopkins (third), and in front of local competitor Dickinson (fifth). Although the Falcons finished the 2017 campaign unranked in the nation, they finished sixth out of 51 teams at NCAA Regionals which undoubtedly helped them secure their regional ranking this season. 
 
There were two other Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) men’s teams ranked in the Mideast Region, including No. 6. Stevenson and No. 7 Eastern.
 
The Misericordia women were ranked No. 7 in the women’s Mideast Region poll.
